Does the Storm CNC unit have to be run on a pc or can we use a laptop. I bought a usb to DB25 IEEE-1284 Printer ADAPTER This can fit into a laptop and put a parallel port access on the laptop. I've done some reading and this may not work if the volts put out are not at least 5v but I'm not sure...

Ebony sizes I'll take a few different lengths as long as the quality is good. all Black, if you have odd pieces you want to get rid of I'll take those with the regular length pieces 14, 16, 18, 12, 10, 4, and most sizes I can use.

other variety Dick, Would it really matter if the wood was a different variety. Main objective would be grain/straightness, weight/hardness, and color/ if it meets those objectives would it matter? Or are you saying other varieties can't meet those requirements? Probably so I guess. thanks Bill
