    8ft versus 9ft Diamond Pro am (room 17'6" x 14')

15' x 20' for a 9 ft. table is just enough with little clearance, I don't play on anything smaller so it's all I know. Any less is too tight, like playing in a shoe box, claustrophobic and the acoustics suck. Otherwise utilize what you have and be happy with it. The math is easy enough to...

I'll gladly accept those numbers. The truth is, I had ball in hand on a straight shot. I decelerated my stroke and hung the ball up in the corner. Dave kicked the table and the ball dropped. I was giving Dave 25% credit. It's a nice solid cue, hits em good.

Six large pockets is just too easy

Get rid of all the pockets and put a 4'' hole in the middle of the table, brings a new meaning to pocket speed. For one pocket put a hole on each spot and call it two holes. We can open this up for discussion at the next Matchroom meeting, make it colorful, I can see Emilys nose opening now.

My very accurate 3-rail kicking system. No crazy math required.

Spot on the wall works, it's not new, it's just another tool in the bag to choose from. To teach tracks and learn systems I find 4 lasers are a must have. There are imaginary visuals and there are visuals, some can see it and some can't. The laser is an eye opener for many. Learn the tracks, a...

    Quitting Winners Question

If you don't mind I would like to play my friend, maybe we can pick this up later or another day. We can finish the set if you like and I insist on paying the ticket. I'm paying that ticket whether it's $5.00 or $25.00, win or lose.

    Erik Hjorliefson,

Some pool players are 40 going on 70. I love the players who are 70 going on 40, they're usually hysterical.

    Turning Stone Classic XXXVI

It doesn't get any worse than that play by play unless you replace him with the other guy that doesn't shut up. There are good, there are bad, there are average, and there are those that shouldn't be allowed. Upstate Al is a hard worker and does a great job.
