Question on a Predator 314-2 shaft

In answer to your question...no you shouldnt have a problem with fitment. Your cue maker would have got the radial pin from Uni-loc, and I am lead to believe that all shaft manufacturers that make radial thread in their shafts will make them to the most common radial, which is Uni-loc. Hope...

Making changes to your stroke -- what does it take?

When I was learning my Fundamentals after scraping everything I knew, I had a friend help me instill them. My problem was back then was that I was unable to keep down on a shot, always elevated my body during final stroke. I had a friend basically hold his cue no more than half an inch above my...

    Stroke feedback??

Get a new vid on how your shooting now :) For me, based on the vid, get a Pre-Shot Routine, learn it, memorise it, then put it in the back of your mind and forget about it (conciously). When you play, your unconcious will bring out the routine you have learned. You look like you can shoot some too!

i have problems with my mental game

A thread came up recently in which I posted a link to a very good column from AZB Instructional section. To improve your overall game, you need to practice, and by practice, I mean practice! You need to work on your fundamentals, ensuring that they are 100% right for you, practice your...

What shafts and tips are the pros using these days?

Everyone's preference's are different. If everyones were the same, this world would be very boring. If everyone used Maple shafts and Triangle tips, there's no debates to happen! I personally use a Wayne Holmes custom cue set (player, breaker and jump), and have 2 player shafts, 2 breaker...

A new year time for something new - LD Shafts

I use a Maple shaft on my Wayne Holmes cue and have been playing with Maple Shafts now for the better part of 3.5 years. I put the hours in on the table and got used to my shaft, and during this, I've tried Predator 314-2's and OB1's. I had an OB1 for around 5 weeks, in which time I played 2...

Are Moori & Kamui tips really worth the money or is it all hype?

I tried a Triangle, for 5 weeks. What attracted me to Triangle tips were the reviews on here. I tried one, liked it, said I wouldnt ever spend more money on a 'brand' tip again...now I'm back with a Branded tip. Its not that I didnt like the Triangle, far from it, its a very nice tip if you have...

Most deffinately. But what I would be eager to learn is what tips for what strokes? ;)

Are Moori & Kamui tips really worth the money or is it all hype?

For Kamui tips to work, you need to have the flex the tip offers when applying any form of spin. Coming from the UK, a lot of people (because of Snooker & English Pool) have their tips quite low on their ferrules. I dont know the reason for this, but it happens. With my tips I have, I install...

    Hal Houle

Maybe so, but I think a lot of players who learn something new realise it takes bunch of hard work, dedication and determination to reach the goal of Pro statu by putting in the time on that practice table. Are you telling me that you have never learnt something new on the table, practiced it...

Are Moori & Kamui tips really worth the money or is it all hype?

I currently use Kamui Original Medium tips on my playing shaft (only had them put on yesterday after having some bad experiences with the pressed Triangle I had on for 5 weeks). I went back to Kamui, as they are great. What I like about them is the consistency levels are far greater than any...

    Aiming Voodoo Video

I am one of the 2 guys who PM'd RonV for some help as I am very curious about his systems and going from the video that Cleary made, is a very good one. I have used this system in practice for the past 2 evenings, and it is GREAT! But I am still uncertain about some shots etc. It easy to say as...
