I think with the 2 & 3 balls in the back corners of the rack, you cant 'really' control where they are to end up. In 9 ball, if the 2 is at the back, it tends to do 3 things (from my experience)...go up table into the kitchen, hit another ball and stay below the headspot, or get kicked in by one...

Well, it turns out I am more used to the OB1 than I initially thought. I felt quite comfortable with it last night when I was playing. I have decided to stick with it...I have put my Maple shafts away in the house and wont be going back to them again. I am determined to get used it it fully...

What your doing uncounciously is focusing more on the harder shots than on the simple ones as you may believe the harder shots look better to people your playing/watching. Practice practice practice...is the only solution

Why go for the 4x8? Reason I'd go for a 4x2 is Id only want to carry what I need for tournaments - Player Cue with 2 Shafts, Break Cue with 1 Shaft and Jump Cue with one shaft; and with the case having the usual small & big pockets, more than enough room to carry chalk, talk, towels, cue...

12.75mm for me. Have done for a number of years now. Can instantly tell if a shaft is 13mm, or 12.5mm.
