Corey using the bridge to break 🤔🤔🤔 Why do you think he's doing this?

That’s what is played for using a magic rack, particularly the 2nd row in the side when breaking form the middle (which was a stipulation for this event). Breaking from the middle makes position on the 1 a little harder because it doesn’t generate the angle for the 1 to pass the cue ball and...

Corey using the bridge to break 🤔🤔🤔 Why do you think he's doing this?

The voiceover mentions the result (2,3 in the side, position on the 1) which obviously has nothing to do with using the bridge to break with. Those outcomes are standard for a center table break with a magic rack. It must be mechanical. He feels it gives him a more solid action for his break...

    Thom Pyro chalk

Yeah, that was well demonstrated. But for anyone that doubts it, you only have to play a couple of shots to see the difference. The only time I end up with an annoying chalk mark on cueball is if I miscue doing something stupid. I’ve had several people I communicate with primarily online doubt...

    Thom Pyro chalk

I know, I know. I guess I just meant to say that it’s irrelevant to me whether it stays on my tip longer, because I chalk every couple of shots anyway, and always chalk if I’m playing something with a bit of juice. Put it this way, it’s not like Kamui .98 or 1.21 or whatever they were called...

    Thom Pyro chalk

I won’t use anything else on my home table, and the few times I’ve had other players visit, I asked if they’d mind using one of the spare Taom’s I have. It’s not just the color. I’ve used the green and blue Taom on both powder blue and tournament blue cloth. It definitely keeps my table cleaner.

    Holy shit, can’t unsee.

I’m not sure that it sticks to the tip more. In fact, I don’t believe it does. However, it 100% leaves the cueball and the table cleaner, and with one piece of chalk lasting a year easily, I’d probably pay $60 a piece for that reason alone. On the rare occasion I don’t play at home, I now...

Video: How To Run Rack of 14.1

It wasn’t really feedback, just criticism. He could’ve mentioned what he thought wasn’t necessary in the talking, or why your end pattern was no good. That would have been feedback. There aren’t many people who can run 100s that are willing to put themselves out there and take the time to...

Hahaha, I feel a little bad for taking the piss out of The Billiard Corner’s reviews, but I doubt he’ll ever see it, and honestly, reviewing cues on video is one of the more pointless things I’ve seen done. I get it though. I probably wouldn’t say no if a company offered to send me cues to try...

LOL! He’s awesome. As a bit of a laugh at cue reviews on Youtube, and in honor of your stance on shafts and tips, I made a Players cue review for you: EDIT: Apologies to The Billiards Corner for taking the piss a little bit. If you happen to see this, it’s just a laugh ;)

I’d hate to be at the Tenga factory during lunch break.

The Legendary Pearl to Take On 14.1 Attempts

Awesome memories, but: Hahahahah! Holy shit, you stole Mosconi’s cue ball? Hahahah!

Hahahah, I don’t know why I was shocked when the Defy didn’t bounce 😂 It looks really weird just planting itself on the table!

The only thing I think I can do to make it as fair as possible is wear a glove, in case friction on my bridge hand is making a difference 😂 Getting a bit nutty, but short of building a little buddy bot to shoot balls for me, that’s all I can do.

I feel like they’re pretty similar, but I’ll weigh them tomorrow, and I do want to try it a little more once I’ve got my arm going. I feel like I hit a few of them well, but not perfect. What about tip size? The Player’s cue has a wider tip than the ignite. Would that allow the ignite to hit...

    Mcdermott Defy Shaft

Well we can’t give you an answer that will fit your framing (data driven) because we don’t have a little pool robot to play exactly the same short repeatedly. But a few are suggesting we feel it makes a difference. You’re telling us it doesn’t, but then suggesting if it does, we should be able...

I just remembered I was going to try with a couple of different cues. Obviously not scientific, but I feel in the short time I had I played some very similar shots. These were also the first shots I’d played in a few days, so not ideal 😂 (You can see the washing I quickly threw off the table).

210 grams to 170 grams (approx). is pretty significant. Wouldn’t that weight assist maintaining momentum?

So just be clear on this, carom balls on carom tables maintain spin on the cueball much more than pool balls on a pool table, regardless of cue being used. You just have to watch some pro carom to see someone play a 5 cushion shot and the cueball grabbing the 5th cushion and spinning over with...
