    Difficult Shot...Re. Miscue Limit

I have no idea how this could be a full tip... it's half of the tip diameter. 🤣 I like the way Ted G. Brown said it in his Wagon Wheel book, he says things like address the CB where the bottom of your tip is 1/4" above center cue ball. I'm guessing this would be called 1 1/2 tips according to...

    Difficult Shot...Re. Miscue Limit

Isn't this half a tip off center?

Fedor vs Shane argue with me

What size pockets? With it being 10B I have zero interest in actually watching the match. I'd love to watch 1P, 8B, or 9B but 10B causes my eyes to glaze over.

When You Are In A Slump

I am not an instructor. I can tell you're struggling with some of your recent posts. We get burned out at this game and eventually the winning attitude is gone. Everything is against us, let's go eat worms. At some point it's hard to keep interest, then there is the slump. Honestly with the...

    Swearing in Accu-Stats

My absolute favorite thing in 9B is shitting it in. I don't like 10B but if my opponent grumbles about it I'll say "That's why I play 10B for money." Which I don't but it's a funny thing to say. If my opponent shits it in I honestly don't care because I can do it too. I also have a lot of fun...

Sometimes. About 1/3 of the time it just stops dead and I look like a fool! 😄

    DigiBall Passaround Reviews

I honestly can't remember. I think I recharged it once during the week. It wasn't dead but I charged it before showing it to some buddies.

    Tape drill

If you go this route use the light purple chalk. It doesn't stain the table and can be removed.

In all honesty if you get a straight one I like how ramin wood shafts feel. I have an old cheapie house cue that may be getting turned into a 2 piece at some point, or harvest the shaft from it and use on another butt. They were cheap cues but have a nice crisp hit.

    Stroke trainers

Do people really have this much trouble stroking straight? The easiest and most effective is the old put the ball on the middle headspot, shoot it to center diamond on the opposite end and back to your tip of your stick. This will tune you up fast when first learning or after a long break from...

    CF Shaft Ferrule Replacement

It should be no problem for a cuemaker but it's not something anyone can do. You need the right tools (lathe), meticulous attention to detail and some know how.

JBCases is making CTE, easy to understand

I feel as if a lot of CTE is getting your visual perception consistent. If you look at a shot the same way each time you can adjust what needs adjusting. Think of half ball hits, they look the same but of course you have to hit them right. Getting the balls to look right is the whole point of...

Which is easier to work on?

I've heard you can special order it but you basically have to beg them to do so. I have no idea if this is true. I wish I had gotten drop pockets on mine, getting balls out kills my back. I'd rather walk than bend at that angle. If I'm practicing I'll usually stuff car wash sponges in the pockets.

    107 Breaks & 6 Chances

I must have had a brain fart. Stand at the middle of the head rail. I'm going to assume you're breaking from the left side of the table. If not, do the same thing but the other way. Reach your left hand out and touch the tit of the pocket, the tit nearest the center. Take a step back so you're...

Retaining Ability from Performance Enhancing Drugs

Very true but some people's bodies have a bent axle and missing a few teeth in the transmission. Better living through modern chemistry. ;) I avoid all medications like the plague, unless it's something absolutely needed. You know the rare side effect 15 pages in? Yeah, that's the one that...

EYE PATTERN “Best Practices” … Cue Ball or Object Ball Focus Last?

EYE PATTERN “Best Practices” … Cue Ball or Object Ball Focus Last?

CBL also works really well if you're really trying to hem someone up in certain safety situations. I think most people intuitively know this after playing for a while, as you said when quality of contact is of great importance. Especially on oddball shots quality of contact drastically improves...

EYE PATTERN “Best Practices” … Cue Ball or Object Ball Focus Last?

For sure, but I think a lot of CBL started out as OBL and settled into CBL. We always talk about "hitting the CB on the microdot" and it's much easier to do when you're focused on the thing you're hitting. The OB is pretty much a secondary consideration, physics are gonna physic, you only...
