It’s a CueTec break cue. It has been on a rack not used for a while. I tried twisting with another person holding. Tried 2 strap wrenches .. they won’t grip. Dropped it gently to possibly vibrate the joint loose. Help!

Was it adjusted properly. If so it can be set to not touch the ferrule. If you are not familiar with what I’m saying that explains why it did not work out.
