    Mali identification with silver logo?

W Wrong, the silver and white labels like the stick above were the last generation made in the US. When they went over seas the logo font changed and then they added "since 19XX" and putting a box around it like this:

    Ivory Cue Ball

Do you know how an ivory ball was trued up before being sold, or after several years of play? The machine could leave a very faint pattern on the ball that would disappear after playing with it a while. you can faintly see it in the pic

Cue butt diameter older cues vs. new

I play with a 58 Titlist conversion that has to go into my cue case upside down because of the size of the butt. Yes, they are absolutely getting smaller as the material, design, and construction of cues evolve and change. But me... I like the apple-bottomed girls.

    Unusual Joe Porper Pool Cue

Respectfully, No. Porper build quality coupled with the materials puts it WELL above that. You're pricing in line with lower-quality Vikings and McDermotts which is just insane for a custom-built cue. If it were plain, straight wood, yes I would agree with you, but this cue, no.

    Unusual Joe Porper Pool Cue

Hey friend here in KC has a Proper cue he picked up at a pawn shop 15 years ago and was trying to figure out what a reasonable value would be. Its stag, ivory, and ebony on a maple core. I've seen similar cues from big-name builders but have no clue on what advice to give him on this one. Given...

Can someone please recommend a reasonably priced cuemaker for a sneaky conversion with stainless joint?

If your having it made with a steel joint it's not a sneaky, it's a plain jane. Sneakys are wood on wood trying to look like a house cue. And yes Cody rocks, would make you a great stick.
