    Your First Time

First time I held a cue was when I was 5 or 6, on a mini snooker table my grandad had made for my dad and uncle. He was a technical engineer at a mining company (It was an old cue he sawed down to mini-size to fit some small spaces when we put it on the kitchen table). I started to play snooker...

    Best Playing Cue Builder

TBF working for Boeing isn't really a shining endorsement of engineering prowess these days 🤐

pool cue once in a lifetime buy

I would go back and throw a little cash their way, especially if finding out the value after the fact, but realistically, if you're putting it out at a yard sale... you can do a little research first. I've been on both sides of this at some point or another.

    Congress should pass a law

I like powder blue/powder grey and the Dynaspheres Palladium (international ones with the correct colors). Lighter colored cloth looks nicer, but I guess it needs more care to clean.

Alex P vs Mick Hill in the Finals of a Chinese table 9 ball tournament

No safety is par for the course. If you hook someone, they turn it back to you. Pretty standard for the format, and it's how most people gamble here. You can play these rules for anything from 4ball to 9ball.

    PERI open Asia List...

Might start with images, but I'll try and get one of these action cams now they're cheap enough. Don't fancy wandering around with my phone on a stick.

    New ferrule

Once you have seen the actual product available here on Taobao, and other platforms, you kind of realize how vastly domestic products have improved (and are marketed at their domestic consumers). Temu is simply the tat that they wouldn't sell here, that they know someone will buy elsewhere for...

    New ferrule

The green one looks similar to what is popular here at the moment, the one on the left image. He had some other colors, and other patterns. They were listed as 'domestic' juma - he also had a much bigger stock of imported materials. All synthetic, but some that replicated ivory. I am sure ivory...

Alex P vs Mick Hill in the Finals of a Chinese table 9 ball tournament

I am curious if he actually is the best money player in China. I am going to ask around. I didn't think he was, but I could be wrong. There are a fair few others I would have put above him.

    Congress should pass a law

hahahah this is hilarious. I am quite a fan of the sexy Aramith Leopard print 9 ball. This red 8 is as random as the numbered set of yellow and reds (like English pool balls but American size) I saw for sale on Xianyu the other day I also saw some striped balls (and I mean white balls with...

    power draw?

I think the word 'power' could be removed from the name of the shot... it's where most people make a hash out of it... It's not about 'power' - it's about the timing of the stroke, and the precision of where you are making contact with the cueball. You can draw the length of the table with not...
