PREDATOR AND CUESPORTS INTERNATIONAL LAUNCH THE US PRO BILLIARD SERIES

Since no one on the forums seems to have noticed this posting on the main page, .. https://www.azbilliards.com/predator-and-cuesports-international-launch-the-us-pro-billiard-series/ It looks like we need to start applauding more organizations than just Matchroom for promoting the game we...

Is there a "smart" cue ball yet?

Assuming the cue ball could work, it's much more portable than any camera based system.

    Men vs Women at pool

For the top 100 lists, I think you have to have 300 games entered within the last 2 years.

Jump sticks have changed the game

How many Americans that wish jump cues were banned, really want to see Skylar kick on this shot? This match is also an example of why I prefer alternating breaks. The pressure was kept on both players through out.

Paul Newman Interview in 1962 about playing Fast Eddie

The following video mentions that Paul's role was first offered to Tony Curtis.

Jump sticks have changed the game

I remember seeing a lot of the kids start showing up with jump cues about the same time I started seeing the Predator spliced shafts, 92 or 93. I suspect you started seeing players of this group as they got good enough to compete with the older pros. And, a few of the older pros that saw the...

Jump sticks have changed the game

Where I play, every banger scoops the ball to "jump". No one says a word to them. I have to bite my tongue because I know I would be wasting my time. I only know of one room that has a sign about no jump shots or masses.

Jump sticks have changed the game

I read his post as saying that Efren made a ball on a kick before the Z shot. He didn't kick on the shot before the Z shot.

Jump sticks have changed the game

Didn't Efren start the "controlled" kicking? Weren't players just hitting kicks at warp speed hoping to get lucky before him?

Jump sticks have changed the game

I think Efren's Z kick was after he played a safe but accidentally made a ball.

    John Morra appreciation

Even though, he says 2 in his post, I think it's been 3. I am pretty sure it was first mentioned here at the 2018 Canadian Championships.

Fixing the game of 9 ball.

If you are going to quote me, I stated "us", pool fans. It was just an idea to show "us" the drama/excitement you feel it would create. I think it might be a better way to get people to see your vision than berating them.

    Konrad Juszczyszyn, An amazing player.

And, not to knock Konrad, but if pool had the same money as golf, it would be even harder to get into the top 78.

Is Schmidt's and charlie 626 Legit

I bet John actually is enjoying that he is needling his haters by not releasing the video. And, I would bet that at least one forum member has a copy of the unedited video.

Fixing the game of 9 ball.

So, don't reward someone for playing a great safe? Today, in situations where the player feels that they can't hit the ball or will sell out even if they do, they will tie balls up. You are right I don't get it. Maybe get one of your sponsors to put up a bit of cash and get 2 pros to play for...

Fixing the game of 9 ball.

Wouldn't this eliminate the most famous shot in pool, Efren's Z shot? And, also, how he single handedly changed the game of 9 ball, with the kick-safe?

    Placement Pool Challenge (PPC 100)

After seeing a couple of errors, I thought they were Easter eggs to see if your students were paying attention. None of them have affected the quality of your posts.

Amazing Match Ko Pin Yi vs Fong Pang Chao

I think he was. In the 90's, I knew several people who would jump like that with just the shaft. Now, there is a minimum length for a jump cue. Also, Dr. Dave has a video showing that those are usually fouls although it is hard to see. The cue ball hits the shaft a second time to "help" push...
