Oh I understand how ridiculous it is.

Player of the decade Earl or Sigel?

The quality of pool back when Siegel was playing was slightly better than any local 8 ball beer league today...so Earl. The only American pool player whos level of play back then could be considered "Professional" by todays standards is Earl Strickland.

"Hit the pro side of the pocket" myth.

What the heck is this? So if I "aim" to over cut the shot to one side of the pocket, and I over cut the shot and miss, then I am pleased with myself because I didn't leave a hanger from under cutting it? Um, if I didn't "aim" to over cut the pocket then I would have made the shot! Come on people.

    What are the table specs?

Technically it is felt. Yeah because nobody is answering the actual question. When I do my run to 715 + I want to have the same conditions. I also need a Gold crown unless I can do it on a 7 ft diamond? My 9 ft with 4 1/4" pockets is just not suited for high runs in straight pool. I would be...

    What are the table specs?

Ok so John was trying to break Shaws record with a similar set up. It's interesting that they started on the predator apex and did a few instructional runs, the high run was 124 or something...I expect the same would be with the predator pro am...anyway, they switched to the gold crown for the...

Are we seeing the end of wood cues?

The 6 ball was pocket speed!

Are we seeing the end of wood cues?

If you can't play with carbon fiber then you simply can't play at all...you are probably inconsistent and "hitty".

Are we seeing the end of wood cues?

I don't want paint, designs, inlays etc messing up with the perfect balance of the cue...even your long joint screw...I gotta wait half an hour while you put your cue together? Was everything measured to the micro millimeter, and weighted to the micro milligrams? Are they massed produced to play...

Are we seeing the end of wood cues?

I did. I have both becue and predator cues when they first came out. WOW the revo has been around for over a decade and there are still pros using wood???? That would be like Roger Federer using a wooden racket lol.

Are we seeing the end of wood cues?

I personally was the first to jump onto the carbon fiber cues well before any of the pros started adopting them. I found this weird because carbon fiber cues are superior in every way imo, but pros seem so attached to their cues they were reluctant to switch over. I can go from deflection to no...

    Mosconi cup pockets

I didn't expect such a reference from a pool forum. Athough I am almost sure the only reason any of you know about Schrodinger is because of Big bang theory talking about it.

    Mosconi cup pockets

You can see they are curved...the top is covering it from this view...but you can still see it.

No. The facing angles are concave...just like the definition of concave...opposite of convex.

2 rail kick fail and here is why.

My point was mostly that at the pro level you shouldn't need any systems...it should be automatic. If you rely on systems you will never develop a feel for shots...that's what happened to Ruiz...he could'nt feel that he was going to come under the ball..heck I could tell just from watching where...
