That’s right. I’m just pointing out that when Kazakis made the 9 he was breaking on the right side of the table (his right), and when Alyousef made it he was breaking on his left side of the table. Maybe whatever gap was there made it track the same way regardless of which side they broke from.

When Kazakis made the 9 on the break, it was in the opposite corner from where he was breaking. In the Lechner match it was heading towards the corner pocket on the same side they were breaking.

Score 2-1. So it must have only been one 9 on the break, but on the others the 9 was just obviously tracking that direction.

Looks like they’re moving tables. What is the score? The first rack was 9 on the break, then they each won a game, and now digital pool says it’s still 2-1. Is that wrong and there was another 9 on the break?

What’s going on in the Lechner match? The YouTube stream is off and the Table 1 commentators are saying they’re working on the table over there.

How can someone lose due to the magic rack?

I do like the fact that it shows one’s local time, but I’m so used to people not bothering to adjust for time zones that I always pause for a second and wonder. I think just indicating time zone would go a long way.

I don’t feel as strongly about it as some people seem to, mainly because I don’t think it makes as big a difference as people think. Lots of winner breaks matches see back and forth scoring, and lots of alternate break matches have long unanswered wins. I do love how winner breaks makes control...

Those rules say “may” not “shall.” I don’t think it’s hard to use a marker, I just don’t think it’s any more accurate in that situation. The ref used the marker in the very next game. Mika was up 10-8 and they had a little safety battle. I believe they were the only shots Mika had after that...

To be fair, a game or two later Mika asked the ref to clean the cue ball and the ref pulled his marker out of his pocket and cleaned the cue ball. I just don’t think the ref felt the need to mark the ball that was on the rack. Pick it up a millimeter, slide out the rack, and put it back down. Do...
