Here's a cue that Jim built for me in 2016. Currently do not have good pics but here are a couple, before and after finishing.

This is very sad news. I did see him a few weeks ago at Bayshore Billiards, but hadn't seen him as frequently as usual. He always greeted me with a smile and had a few minutes to chat. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to all.

I tried a medium Kamikaze on my Frey sneaky and like it. I had to replace the original Ultraskin medium which was also a fine tip.

Guys and Dolls in Valley Stream opens at 3 pm Monday to Thursday but noon on Friday. Never been there, but here's the phone number: 516.825.8822.

I'll be in Louisville in two weeks and may have a free day. I'd play some cheap sets with someone, if available they can pm me. Amityville? Maybe one barbox left at the Cuddy Cabin. I worked there around 25 yrs ago. Could be the same cast of characters, or their kids, it's that kind of town.

I was at Elite Billiards in NJ all day on Sunday and that was still happening. Even down to the snooker with numbered balls.:smile:

I have some decent production cues and some customs. I've heard good things about Mezz though, enough that I'm considering buying one to try out. They seem to have a decent resale value. I have tried their break cues and liked them. I'd go for it.

I'm really enjoying scrolling through these beautiful cues. Thanks to everyone who posted.

Ned texted me about a half hour ago and wrote that he will have 6 new cues done by the end of the week. He ok'd me posting his phone number (see prior post) for anyone interested, or to contact him about other work. Here are a couple of pics he sent, thought that I would share them.
