Do they have a firm hit feel, with the grip of a soft tip? I have a Meucci Black Dot shaft, and I can't find a tip i'm satisfied with, either to hard, or to soft. Eddie

Thanks Hu. I've tried to find something thin and sharp like a one sided razor, but the ones I've found are for the tip trimming tools, and pretty short? The reason I ask, I've done a quite a few tips, but a couple of times I nicked the ferrule. Eddie

What brand of Kiridashi knife do you use? I'm wanting to get a decent quality knife, but I've seen them from $8.00 to $130. I'm trying different brands of tips so like yourself, I'd just be using it to change out the tips. Eddie

I've never tried them, but I think Ki-Tech is a single layer tip that makes a soft tip.

I'm going to buy at least one wavy shaft, but i'll need to change a 3/8 x 10 pin to a wavy pin.

I found a pretty good deal on Wavy Joint Shaft/Shafts, and I have a couple of (cheaper) McDermott butts so i'd like to try the wavy joint pin in one of McDermott cues. Before I get a cue made, I'd like to try several different cues, and shafts. I had assumed it wouldn't be real expensive.

How difficult is it to change a 3/8" x 10 pin, to a Wavy Joint pin? Thanks
