I’m guessing he got pretty busy with the Ultimate Pool event he played in. He also got married a while back. The three main guys we are talking about, Josh, Drew, Anthony, have all improved their game. Watching your matches on video must be pretty beneficial.

Pretty much everything iusedtoberich says about Diamond tables was also said by almost everyone else, the first time they played on one. They have become pervasive, people have gotten used to them, and accepted the way they play.

SVB said it himself, his game has not dropped. The competition has caught up. Gorst and Filler are great talents. They both have yearned to be the best, and put in the work, from a very young age. Just as SVB did.

I agree, being the best means you are one of the best, no matter the era. If Jean was 13 today, she would still rise to the top, or at least be close. It's the 25-100 that changes the equation. The 100th best, in almost all endeavors, is just better now than thirty, fifty, 100 years ago...
