Tip Shape- Nickel? Dime? Can I get a Penny Please?

I'm a little picky, but a dime is too much curve and I like a little more than a nickel. They are significantly different. I don't know why willard or someone else hasn't come out with an intermediate size shaper. Maybe they have and I'm not aware of it because they didn't market it as such. I...

    Cue Id Help Please

Hi, I'm trying to help a friend id a cue. I apologize for the lack of pictures. I realize ideally we would have better pics of the pin, shaft, inside the bumper, or the whole cue for that matter lol. He thinks the pin is a 3/8 x 10. I was hoping someone could tell just from this pic he gave...

    Old School Gilbert 750obo

Old School Gilbert SOLD Older Andy Gilbert cue from when he marked them with a G on the butt cap. Nice old school look with 4 cut points. Sweet-looking cue.The finish is not perfect but its not bad either. The butt rolls dead straight and the shaft has a small taper roll that will certainly...

    4 ounce 314 precat uniloc

4.0 ounces. 12.68mm. Good balance. You'll be hard-pressed to find one of these older shafts at 4 ounces and nearly full diameter. Very slight taper roll that doesn't affect play whatsoever. I consider it straight. Shaft does have a little blueing from play and a little glue towards the...

Kamui Hard or Medium? Brown or Black

I'm surprised you considered the sniper a hard tip. Personally, I find them quite soft. A Kamui black medium is certainly quite harder than the sniper. Hope that helps.

Serious problems with new Predator?? Help!!

The 13mm shaft was helping you get through the cue ball. Many people people here on the forums suggest that thinner shafts produce english easier. I agree that mostly, the thinner shaft can allow for more control and accuracy, even easier soft spin. On stroke shots or longer draw shots I...

    Derby Dispatches -- Day Four.

I usually hear it used to describe thin cuts that are overcut, but I thought that it mostly had to do with the tendency of amateurs to miss by undercutting the ball. There are many shots that you would expect amateurs to miss on a particular side of the pocket. I would expect most amateurs...

    Attn; Shippers/Sellers

Starting this Monday, delivery confirmation with tracking is included with usps priority. I hesitate to use ups. Their trucks are very large and packages have a chance to get tossed around or crushed in them. My friend had some parts delivered ups the other day in a triangular tube. It was...

Question about 314 1st gen original shafts

Judging by the diameters you listed, I expect they have seen a lot of play over the years. This also suggests they have seen a few tip changes as well. Depending on who changed the tips, this minimal difference in ferrule length could be the result of material being taken off during installation.

Trade my 314-2 plus cash for your 314 1st generation

Looking for a uniloc 314 first generation (with or without the cat). I've got a 314-2 in great condition 12.75mm 4.0 ounces. It's the straightest predator shaft I've ever seen. I'll also put 30 dollars towards it. Not looking for anything under 12.5 and would prefer it to be on the heavier...

Best way to draw art on a cue and put a finish on it?

Thanks for the reply Dick. I realize many would cringe at the thought of drawing on a cue with a fine tip Sharpie, lol. I'm confident that it will, however, turn out well as this is a kind of art that I spend time in. Are there any other suggestions? Should I use automotive clear coat or super...

Best way to draw art on a cue and put a finish on it?

For a long time I have had the desire to paint a cue one solid light shade and draw art on it. I don't have any idea what would be the best way to go about this, meaning what to draw on it with and what kind of finish to put over it that wouldn't distort or ruin the drawing. I was thinking...
