I've always shot with a closed bridge on all my shots. Recently, I've been shooting racks left-handed and have surprised at how much easier it is with an open bridge. This got me to thinking, maybe I should incorporate an open bridge on some certain shots shooting right-handed. I know snooker...

I've had a jp pechauer as well as a pro series. Each of the shafts had more flex than my schon. They're not whippy, but not as stiff as the schon. The schon had a stiffer hit, but the pechauer's had a nice solid hit as well. All shafts were 13mm.

The type of ferrule is also very influential
