in terms of funding pool i think your concept has merit, however, the numbers may or may not make sense
needless to say it 's in EVERYONE'S best interests who make a cracker from this game we love/hate to give this concept consideration
NONE, fastest way to improve is playing players better than you and taking lessons from a competent instructor who has your best interests at heart
An asset is hating to lose while being a gentleman when you do
Wrong, easy to get along unless your an opponent.
Like i said in an earlier post he hates to lose, however, if we come up short and he's on the team he won't be an issue
i've known JP for over 25 yrs, yes, he's acted like a dick on occasion when losing in the past, however, i'd much rather have someone with a burning desire to win than a good loser on my team
the shot clock won't be an issue
STRONG/BIG ARM JOHN from INDY had a blacktop construction biz and pushed a lot of iron in his day.
He played at a very strong shortstop level ( on a bar tabe) in addition to being a fine hoopster.
It looks like some of the Euros dabble in iron, however, not at John's level.
3 or 4 decent players made a group buy a couple of yrs ago and gave them a whirl
i think one is still strokin and jokin with his, the others have gone a different direction
many of the cues in the flyers above look good, don't know about value if it's flipped
does anyone know who makes them...
DYNO restoration on an iconic table, congrats on your implementing your vision.
In the early 60's a pool hall called Lorimars (sp) existed in Oak Park, Il., it was my "home" room for a while and they had 8 or 10 similar tables plus a boatload of 4 1/2 x 9 ft tables. i bought one of the 5 X 10...
i'd shoot for 8 ea 7' tables....need 8 for decent size tourneys
a "dart" area ( money maker once established)
Bal of space for 9' tables
based on dimensions
Excellent taper, fit at joint and ferrule is DYNO....my only issue is the last few i've had were a little on the light side at 3.7 to 3.9 oz which is fine for shafts without an insert, however, the shafts i had were fitted to piloted joints
