    power draw?

Physical dynamics of a whipping motion fall in line with the idea of a flicking wrist to generate more spd. However, it does open the door for less than ideal tip placement due to mechanical breakdown. That said, practice makes perfect and snapping your wrist with consistency is a skill no...

Perfect Aim/The SHIFT is the real deal ! ! !

I understand you're attempting to sell something, but you could have just replied to my positive review with a "thanks" rather than spin it into a pitch...lol ;)

    power draw?

agree... If that's the case, then the shot should not be characterized as 'power follow'. As I mentioned earlier, 'power' shots spend little to no time touching the table as they travel toward the OB. nope, same shot. The likely inability of players to hit the various shots equally, doesn't...

    power draw?

I think the inconvenient truth here is that, again, the vast majority of players never get passed the awe of 'power draw'. "Hey look what I can do", and they script their games around that ability. I still remember when my game matured beyond just stun/draw. I should add that not all power...

    power draw?

Give me a minute... I'll watch and get back to you Not power draw. Relatively easy safe option, but it was a 2 way anyway Not power draw. Siding generated that action. Relatively easy safe option Well struck draw, but I wouldn't ranked it as 'power'. Again though, extremely easy safe...

    power draw?

I genuinely surprised at your take. The same stroke speed is required to generate the same amount of english on the CB. Regardless if you're striking the top or bottom of the CB. The dynamics of that spin scrubbing off prior to striking the OB is the debate. The variables in play are...

    power draw?

That's the perception because bottom english (draw) is scrubbed off as the CB bounces along the shot line. However the same effect happens when striking with a power follow shot. Albeit to a immeasurable lesser degree. This effect is far more noticeable when playing on a dirty, heavily used...

    power draw?

Sry, I'm tripping over your wording. I want to make sure I respond correctly. My stance is that it takes the same amount of skill/effort to control power draw as it does power follow. The physics of behind the stroke and the reaction of the CB before the spin takes hold to the cloth is the...

    power draw?

It is, imo, a fool's errand in application. Never claimed that you shouldn't have the ability to draw the ball the length of the table, and maybe even somewhat further. However that distance does not require all that much "power". Usually power draws are a example of a player shooting an OB...

European Open 2025, Sarajevo, March 11-16

lol... maybe..? I'm not so sure. I do know I don't subscribe to the ideal that the results of winner break vs Alt break formats will be identical. Unfortunately, I believe like all things wherein 'stats logic' is applied. The outlier is washed away by what usually happens. In this case the...

Hey Bob Jewett, is Progressive Practice what I need?

Math is math, however the actual problem most have with "aiming" isn't aiming. It's actually an accurate stroke, and compensation for squirt/swerve over distance. The greater the CB-OB distance the more exacerbated the issue.

    Lee Van vs Morra

I'm firmly buried in the genX era, so for me 'dog' means to be on the bad side of it. Not necessarily awful, but not favoured.

    power draw?

You're a smart guy Patrick... What happens to a skidding CB's inertia when it strikes the OB directly on the same plane...? Assuming the same mass, it stops, right..? Exactly how a hard hit stop shot works. Now IF EITHER follow/draw english (spin) has been applied during that shot. That...

Usually it isn't. That's my point.

Hey Bob Jewett, is Progressive Practice what I need?

Likely a placebo result that's actually driven by increased focus. However if the results are real, then who cares. :)

    power draw?

Power draw = fool's errand. If you need more than a table length the odds are you're attempting the wrong shot. ...and FWIW, people only think that it's harder to control 'power' draw than it is 'power' follow. All the same physics apply.

    Bride arm tension?

Funny... raises a question of how damn hot the pool room is. Personally... If I have the option to, I will rest my forearm on the table. Once again, I fall back to cutting my teeth while playing snooker. Excluding the potential for a dirty arm, I see reason not to lessen the tension on the...

Perfect Aim/The SHIFT is the real deal ! ! !

My personal testimonial: I was the beneficiary of a free Skype 'lesson' from Gene at least a couple years back now. After performing a series of shots, (cut left, cut right, and straight on) in front of a camera. Gene was able to identify a subtle eye dominance I had been correcting with a...
