2025 Mosconi rosters - Euro changes a coming

Well is that written somewhere...? I don't think it a right to be invited to an invitational. Regardless of where they finished on the points list. I find the narrative that Filler was wronged in some fashion entertaining. It seems the only thing that trumps Filler hate on AZB is MR...

    Pro Equipment

"Often" is clearly a subjective word. I wouldn't classify annually as often. I'm sure pros playing with soft tips would consider that eternity. Sporadic amateurs might even consider a yearly soft tip swap a lengthy amount of time. "feel like suede"...?..., the fuzzy material..?. Well...

2025 Mosconi rosters - Euro changes a coming

Why does this deal matter...? If memory serves. Filler got axed from the invitational because he didn't support the organization he signed a contract to do so. I don't understand how any agreement MR will have with the WPA will change how they invite players to invitational events.

    Pro Equipment

Just a complete guess on my part, and just as a general statement regarding equipment choices. I would suspect that 'pros' utilize equipment wherein maintenance cost/effort are not a factor. For example.... I play with a hard tip. Not that a hard vs soft tip will give any more/less...

    WTH is going on?!?!? 😳

Yup, read that as well... Looking forward to another slew of unprovoked comments about how he not only changed hands once, but twice.

Brunswick gold crown 7 video ..everything new walk through from the expo!

I wouldn't give a penny over $5k for anything on the market. Excluding applicable taxes of course. The margin on these things is ridiculous. Sure they look nice but the only part that really matters are the voids in the corners. Dollars to donuts, I bet we eventually see pool table lease...

    What is your definition..,

I had no idea an average joe needed ~360k yearly to live in Jersey. ...crazy Every time I think I'm getting on the good side of the curve, I read stuff like that and realize how expensive the world can be.

    What is your definition..,

Stop inserting common sense into this conversation. However, I'll go in another direction. You're a professional when you're paid regardless of your performance. I don't care if you win the USopen or a World Championship. On the right day, if everyone else's limbs fell off, I could win...

    What is your definition..,

You do realize that we're only 3-1/2mths into the year right...? Where the hell do you live..?

EYE PATTERN “Best Practices” … Cue Ball or Object Ball Focus Last?

Forgive me if you became a convert after this post. I'm catching up on the comments. The following should be taken as generalized opinion and not solely focused on what I've quoted. ;) Let me ask you something. How realistic is it for you or anyone else to make corrections in their...

EYE PATTERN “Best Practices” … Cue Ball or Object Ball Focus Last?

you said... Why specifically call out OB to CB as potentially problematic...? Shouldn't the same amount of movement (OB/CB vs CB/OB) potentially cause the same issue..?

EYE PATTERN “Best Practices” … Cue Ball or Object Ball Focus Last?

Is the range of movement somehow shorter when going from CB to OB,...?

    Tip size

Play with 11.6 wood... Only CF shaft I enjoyed playing with was the cynergy 10.5 This has nothing to do with tip size. Rather, I grew accustomed to the skinnier shaft in my open bridge. I can play just as well with a 12.5, and did so for some time after an equipment upgrade. As far as snake...

do the pros outweigh the cons when using quality shaft wax?

I asked him... just a sealer, no wax

do the pros outweigh the cons when using quality shaft wax?

you guys put wax on your cues...? Wild... My cue guys seals my shafts with something once every +6mths and I clean occasionally with a damp golf towel.

Has anyone coached a friend through their earbuds?

Ok, so before you pull the trigger. You and your friend should set up a match between him and whoever for whatever stakes they feel comfortable with. Then throughout the match you constantly provide your insight to your buddy and lets see how the other player reacts. I'm guessing he won't be...

    Predator cues balance point

I use gravity. Wonderfully consistent. I also employ a very loose grip. All in what you prefer to teach yourself I suppose. I'm betting you can look at a bowl of soup, close your eyes and successfully feed yourself. That said, how did you know how to bend your arm without knowing where your...

    Predator cues balance point

For the record, I cannot argue the correct grip vs BP location, because I really don't know where the BP is on any of my cues. I also don't check for it when I pick up a foreign cue to swat at balls. I'll add that I also don't check the curvature of the tip. There's a list of other things...

    Predator cues balance point

Forgive me, but I think this is a problem most players have. BP should have no bearing on your grip hand location. The grip hand needs to land so that your forearm is perpendicular to the cue extremely near or at CB contact. This is my number 1 reason for always suggesting to cue buyers to...
