    To glue it to staple?

People saying there is only one way is the main problem with the mechanics forum. There are many acceptable ways :) I deal mostly with homeowners that are not recovering their tables like a pool hall does. There are more people who work in peoples homes than in pool halls. I am also a member of...

The Pool Table is for Decorative Purposes

I have one word for it: SILLY. I try to steer customers away from stuff like that. So hard to play pool with lighting like that. You are right though, that table is more for decorative purposes than to play on! TFT

    To glue it to staple?

you are right about one thing: I have the experience you wish you did. I developed my own adhesive edge bond method using RKC250 and it works.... I dont need to use it on wood backed slates...

    Gold Crown rail question

It is not as easy as changing an angle. They are different measurements. I still like your idea!! I Also understand you are speaking of Gc Anniversary and Centennial tables only. It really would save a lot of headaches for the casual player and the DIY people too. TFT

    To glue it to staple?

Your slate backers will be good!! I use a non neumatic hand stapler with thin wire staples in the pockets in order to not damage the slate backer as much. TFT P.s. your slate backers are not MDF. ;)

    To glue it to staple?

If your staple pattern is consistent, no worries. If you get "striping" your stapling is not consistent. Half inch is what Simonis DVDs suggests I think>?? Sounds like you wont be recovering your table once a year= no issues stapling. IMO, in commercial environments it is a good idea to use...

Latest Brunswick Anniversary Restoration Project! Model D-C 9'

It is GREAT to have a Pro like Jack Z to do rail surgery! I do my own extensions, cushions and facings, but, when its subrail replacement time I go to him. He is great to work with, prices are always fair and he is on track time wise! Not to mention he is a gentleman and very good pool player. I...

    To glue it to staple?

Staples work, period. Solvent based adhesive is gross. Must be why "some people" are so crazy, to much blue glue. I use it when its necessary and do a good job, but, I would rather not smell it or touch if often. I feel bad for guys that have to use it everyday! TFT

Sell the old one on Craiglist or Facebook Marketplace? Or to a friend? Donate it to a non profit that needs one? Donny Wessels at West State Billiards is someone reputable in the State of California. New is the easiest way, but, will cost most money and wait times are LONG. Buying one off of...
