Just finished up recovering 8 tables in 2 days! :)

If I am ever on the road and near your area, I will definitely reach out to see if you are in need of a recover! What brand and model is your table? It is so crazy that there is no one in so many areas that can do a solid recover. I am not talking about "being the best" or any of that crap...

    To glue it to staple?

I only work on the Valleys in Miscue North and South here in Toledo. I charged them a one time adhesive removal fee. Now we only use the RKC250 on them. I still use the 3m-77 on the rails, down to 9 staples on the corners of the rails and 5 staples on the side pockets. Happy to see business is...

    To glue it to staple?

So you stopped using 3m-77 spray glue? RKC 250 works GREAT! Congrats. It looks amazing! We buy it by the case! Much better value :) TFT p.s. Still only use it on valleys and diamonds :)

I had to install some Simonis on 2 Diamonds this week, totally different?

I stretched 8 beds and railsets last weekend. I am convinced the Simonis 860 has changed. index was 1 1/2" again! TFT

Why I stopped selling Simonis Cloth. How are you other Smaller Dealers thinking??

The stretch index is wayyyy different. I like it though. It is MUCH easier to stretch into the pockets. I wish all manufacturers cut off the useless points on the slate in the corners and sides like Brunswick does now on their GC6. Makes the upholstery so much easier! Tour Edition 30/30 Plays...

Just finished up recovering 8 tables in 2 days! :)

A big thanks to Sean Tuffner @tuffstuff07 for coming out from Illinois and training with me. He is a very good guy and is going to start servicing his area in the near future! He is the first person I have shown and explained my adhesive edge bond method in complete detail, he even has pics. He...

    Rail sights

That is a GREAT question: you have to either drill or use a punch & hammer. Not a super easy job an I would suggest getting the EXACT size from Ken Hash at Classic Billiards. Good Luck to the OP. TFT

Just finished up recovering 8 tables in 2 days! :)

I don't prefer to work on Valleys, but, my home room Miscue South, next my shop has 12 of them. They also have 9 GC3's and 2 Diamonds that I restored for them. It is my responsibility to take care of all the tables. So I must work on them. On the last12-Valley recover we stripped and cleaned...

Why I stopped selling Simonis Cloth. How are you other Smaller Dealers thinking??

If installed correctly it is very fast and durable. IMO it is as good as any other worsted style cloth out there. CPBA, Andy, Predator, Simonis and Gorina all make high quality cloth. I dont get into 1 oz. differences. As far as I know Tour 30/30 is the only 24 oz. cloth, just like the logo...

    To glue it to staple?

I remember that entire situation, that was a CUSTOMER of Mark G's that decided to cover the rails himself. That guy was a HOOT! He goes by Colt Kodiak on here now, somehow "ole Dennis" has managed to change his name on here like 3 times. He has since sold that table and lives somewhere in the...

    Gold Crown rail question

Like I said, I get lots of calls. I would use a lot of them and IMO so would others if they were available. For how many calls I get, my need and its been brought up on here soooo many times. I felt it was worth my time to investigate. TFT

    Gold Crown rail question

I am with the OP, there are enough GC 1 &2 , Anny's and Centennials out there to make a custom cushion. I understand not making cushions for every old table. The OP was pretty specific and so am I above. I get calls all the time. It would be far more cost effective for the client. Yes, I am...

Latest Brunswick Anniversary Restoration Project! Model D-C 9'

Very happy with the outcome of my polishing! All I have left is the legbands, waiting for material to come in :) Only negative about this project: this will not get installed until the clients Condo rennovation is completed, its been going on for about 2 years already. He is bummed and so am...

    Proper side pocket fold?

I did not know there was a national outage of guys who can't fold the side pocket.... I notice more loose bedcloths than issues with folds. IMO. I think this must be causing the economy of our industry to crash!! LOL TFT
