    OB cue weight screws

for whatever reason, they put a slightly oversized bolt in there when they made the cue, hence why it felt so tight. They told me I could safely remove it, will just take some muscle. I am now using bolts from my pechauer weight bolt set, and they fit perfectly. They screw all the way in easily...

Why are some players using cue extensions for shots they don’t need to reach?

it certainly has been the trend. I think karen corr uses a mid-cue extension as well. Allison came to my area a year ago and did a meet and greet and played matches with us. She is the opposite, she was using a 54" cue. She talked about it in a few live streams, and said "everyone has been using...

McDermott Cues - Is the "H" and improvement, or a gimmick, over the "G" series ?

mcdermott makes a great cue. I shot with a 2010 G316 model with the G-core shaft up until recently. It never failed, I just got bored and wanted a new cue. Ill never get rid of that cue though. Sorry, I havent used both, but you cant go wrong with a g series

    I want a new cue

if you strike out or dont want to wait a ridiculous amount of time, as the poster above sad, I recommend pechauer, or OB cues. I have recently had a cue made by each. Both take roughly two months. I wanted a specific wood, and OB ordered it in for me. After experience with both, If I had to pick...

Is this a Lousy wrap job?

response from ob cues "that is from the wrap start/stop points. If the wrap were to come loose earlier than expected from normal wear and tear, it will be covered under warranty". Thanks major.

Is this a Lousy wrap job?

thanks major. So, this is purely aesthetic, nothing to worry about? I tried pressing with my thumb, but the wrap is pretty solidly placed, with no give to it. I dont want to mess anything up. What if I found a local cuemaker that has one of those linen presses and a lathe? Will pressing it again...

Is this a Lousy wrap job?

This cue is brand new. I noticed that there are two very small gaps/uneven spots in the wrap. One near the butt cap, and one near the forearm. Is this normal? Just the starting and stopping points during the wrapping process perhaps? Again, very small. Im just curious. Hopefully its just me...

    Break tips won’t stay on.

I had the same issue with my outsville phenolic hammerhead tip. I called them, and the guy told me to lick the bottom of the tip with a flame before putting it on. Might be worth a try.
