Are Gold Crowns Still Being "Diamondized?"

The break rules are different but you can still attempt to squat the CB.

    Valley ball set

Aramith Crown balls are a phenolic resin. I haven’t heard anyone ever mention them. They’re the same price as Dynasphere bronze, I’d probably recommend them.

Are Gold Crowns Still Being "Diamondized?"

All the current pro’s are having the CB hitting the middle long diamond and traveling side to side.

    Valley ball set

I’m in the Bahamas playing pool, my favorite bar has shit balls and even worse cue balls. What’s a decent cheap set of ball for a Valley bar box

Are Gold Crowns Still Being "Diamondized?"

I remember back in the 80’s when I lived in the Valley, my friends would go to Oregon to spend some time there. People would tell them “go back where you came from”. Now you can’t tell any difference between California, Oregon, and Washington, at least not in the big population centers. Overall...

UK Open 2025 Telford, UK, May 6-11

Nice large field but seems low on pay outs. You’d need to be top 16 to make any money with travel expenses.

Are Gold Crowns Still Being "Diamondized?"

I can’t count how many times I’ve played on 4.5” pockets that when I hit the ball I said “missed that one” but some how it went in, “that never would have go in at Buffalo’s”.

    Diamond black label value?

He’s actually correct about that old Red label. I consider them firewood myself.

Are Gold Crowns Still Being "Diamondized?"

No one in their right mind would diamondize a GC4. If you got a GC1-3, I would if the cushions needed replacing

Red Label with Tournament Edition K55 cushions

“the way the wood rail is cut”, I think they changed the angle of the wood where the cushion is glued, maybe even mounted the cushion upside down. Something is different

Brunswick Royal Knight or Peter Vitale Loyd Nelson

My wife wants me to get a furniture style table. I’d prefer a Diamond Professional but these two tables look real good. Anyone here have experience with the Royal Knight and Lord tables? How’s their build and play quality compare to a new Diamond?

Current opinions of an old Gold Crown vs Fiamond

Does the Arcade or Kling have the rail bolts go thru the slate?

    Diamond black label value?

You can't buy a new Red label, but I'd say less than 3G's would be acceptable, but I'd be buying a blue top for it.

Current opinions of an old Gold Crown vs Fiamond

Finally, something we agree on. Let's work on world peace now:)

Current opinions of an old Gold Crown vs Fiamond

Lets see. GC1-3, the score counters can or will scratch the cue butt. The rubber pockets will leave black runner streaks on your shaft. The rails will need work if you replace the cushions. Diamond Red label, rails need to be modified to blue specs or a new blue top. Diamond Blue label, plays...

    K55 & K66

It’s my understanding that Diamondizing a table changes the cushions to Artemis and fixes the rail angle to correctly accommodate the new specification cushions. Also the pocket angles are changed to 141 degrees with the rail extensions. GC4 and newer only need the Artemis and rail extensions.
