My new diamond table I just ordered will have 4.5" pockets. I selected this option so that I can practice on a table where i need to make a good shot and not get into bad situations if I ever decide to play a tournament with the smaller pockets. I would not want to go any smaller than 4.5"...

i just got a predator urbain case and absolutely love it. I got it mainly for all the extra room for carrying accessories. Most other cases on the market don't really have storage, they have two pockets where you just pile everything in with no organization.

i just looked it up, I was thinking about Minor Masters in my area that required you to be on a handicap team, which makes sense because there is a max skill level for minor masters.

great advice! Thanks for sharing I am new the APA as well, I thought I read somewhere you have to play on a regular team to be eligible for the master division? Did I read that wrong somewhere, or is that maybe a local requirement?

try a couple different ultraskins in both black and ivory. You can buy 10 of them for what 1 of some of the other tips cost.

I find the outer space "glow" the cyclops cue ball gives off very distracting.

26 is my high run, but that was more of luck for me. I made a couple bank shots off bad position that I normally wouldn't make and set myself up for a really nice break shot that opened the table up pretty much to continue my run. My average is probably only about 8 balls right now.

Mcdermott has an H series cue that has a system designed to custom set/adjust your balance point on the fly. Since I am just starting my quest to get better at pool, i went ahead and ordered one since I may be trying a couple different shafts in the future to see what I like best.
