    Thoughts on Lucasi Jump/Break Cue?

Came across the Lucasi L-2000JB. Seems like it's been around for a while but still available new. It's really difficult to find info on Lucasi cues - I haven't found a company website yet. Anyone have one of these, or opinions on it? Thanks, jv

Lucasi cue and with three shafts

Follow-up Thanks for all of the replies on this, guys. So, I've had this for almost a month. It's a Uni-Loc Quick-Release joint, as far as I can tell; I'm not an expert, but looking at the Uni-Loc site, I'm pretty sure that's it. I am also an inexperienced player, so not a good judge of...

Looking to replace my 15yr Aramith Premiums

That's really interesting. I evaluated a used set of Centennials, and found that they all weighed 167 grams except the four ball, which weighed 165. I wish now that I had measured their diameters. Aren't Centennials made by Aramith? If so, to which ball in their line do they correspond?

    GC I counter therapy?

Mission Accomplished I re-installed my score counters today. Thank you all, and especially user @slach, who provide the much needed and hard to find felt washers. I didn't go "all the way" in my refurbishment, as I was anxious to get them reinstalled. I have started a write-up that I will...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

How About A Pool Ball Collecting Sub-forum? I find this thread a wonderful, entertaining, and useful resource. I want to thank K2Kraze, Rubick's Cube, and others for their fantastic contributions. It occurs to me that it could be much easier to access if it were its own subforum. Then you...

What can i clean Simonis 860 cloth with

I like the way you think! I have pondered a miniature rug shampooer for pool tables, just a pipe dream; seems like it could really clean a table well. My not so old Simonis 860 has a beverage stain from the previous owner. Not sure what was spilled. It's also really dirty where the balls are...

I think if your tap water is very hard, like mine, distilled would be a good idea. (Stains from minerals, potentially, otherwise.)

What can i clean Simonis 860 cloth with

I haven't tried this, but you might consider covering it in baking soda, and then vacuuming that off after a day or so. The baking soda should absorb the odors, and it should vacuum off easily.

Advanced mode reply is broken for me

Indeed, it does. While I like the "look" of this theme, it's really broken with respect to scaling. I'd like to zoom in to make the text bigger, at times, but I don't want the window to extend beyond my on-screen browser margin. Likewise, I'd like auto-scaling of images to fit the window...

Advanced mode reply is broken for me

Don't know where to post this, so here goes. Starting about an hour ago, when I click "post reply" on a thread, or switch to advanced mode from a quick reply, I get a blank screen where the text box, etc., is supposed to be. On a Mac, tried both Safari and Chrome browsers, same result...

Is it possible to straighten a warped cue shaft?

Woods Snooker Cue It's a Woods cue. After I posted this, I found this: How to straighten a bent cue stick shaft Figuring I had nothing to lose, I followed step 3, "Bend It Back." It worked! Holy cow. It's still not perfect, I will continue to tweak it a bit, than hang it up for a week or...

Is it possible to straighten a warped cue shaft?

I have a relatively new snooker cue, the shaft of which has developed a slight warp. I think it's made of Ash. Can this be straightened, I mean, is this something a cue maker can do for me? Thanks, jv

Thanks, guys, for the quick response. It's odd I couldn't resolve that with the BCA rule booklet, I will look again.

    14.1 high runs... be honest

Thanks Bob. I don't understand the second one you mention. Do they not play the cue from the kitchen? No called ball on that shot?
