I know a guy who is a 700 Fargo that uses a super soft tip, sounds like you just prefer a softer tip, it's cool you left a review, these tips are new technology, I already use hard tips so I'm used to a very firm hit, look forward to trying and will leave a review after it's installed

I agree, I'm not back to a wooden shaft but I don't have anything against them, if you think a CF shaft is going to give you more power I think you will be disappointed, for me it's about consistency from shaft to shaft and no warpage

    Future of cues and equipment

I said the same thing about CF shafts.......now I own a CF cue......Becue cues are all CF, love how it hits, if the worst thing that happens is I don't like it and I cut it off and replace it with the tip I'm using now.......it will be a great day.

    Future of cues and equipment

I went to CF after swearing I never would, I don't think you get anymore power or spin than a wooden shaft of the same size and diameter, what you do get is consistency, all woods have a pattern to them and none of them are the same, so the shaft you like is not repeatable, even ones that are...

My first lesson with a certified instructor, Dragon Billiards

While a lot of us won't agree on many things on this site, one thing is sure, people who have the drive for success will seek out anything that will give them an edge, I think that's why most of us are here, you are right it's part of our nature, not a bad thing, and a good observation.

    Glove

Becue all the way, I got one with my cue 2 years ago and I am still using it, the best thing about these gloves is they have a BIG non-slip area in the palm that is the same thickness as the glove, you won't even notice it but it doesn't slip at all, I have hand washed mine many times and still...

My first lesson with a certified instructor, Dragon Billiards

Funny you say that, I had just learned to do just that, it allows me to see the line of my cue, contact point of the cue ball, and aiming point of the object ball all in one sight picture.

My first lesson with a certified instructor, Dragon Billiards

I thought that for a long time too but it's not hand eye coordination it's eye brain hand coordination, I had already figured out that I was right eye dominate, the test takes about 5 seconds, the problem was how much did I need to compensate where my eye was placed to actually "see straight"...

    First Problem With Pirate Shipping

I found out the hard way, if you ship in a round tube they charge ALOT more because they say the tubes get caught in the conveyer belts, ship in a square box is cheaper, cost me an extra $26, only once.........

My first lesson with a certified instructor, Dragon Billiards

Kim Young is a certified PBIA instructor in Vestal NY, people who want to excel in sports have coaches, Tiger Woods has a coach, I learned a lot from watching video's on the internet and having better pools players help me but got to a point where I wasn't a ball banger but I also was not...

Magic Rack and Joshua Filler's 7-pack

I would like to see the pockets 4 1/2 inch minimum, the tighter the pockets the less the players take chances cheating the pocket, playing difficult banks ect. , they play safe instead, I think it would add excitement to see players take more chances with difficult shots and make the game more...
