i noticed vietnamese player hoang has a really good rake game. and he's neither short nor tall. probably the most boring shot to practice, but a really good weapon to have. if i get a home pool table i will raise it slightly like iusedtoberich showed in his table thread. i have back problems.

definitely debatable. the last longer part is imo depending on the user. neither material will degrade if taken care of right. but it's probably also true that most users don't take care of their cue right (the ding people) and for them cf is better.

i'm fine with the set format. i think the difference between the race to 15 that matchroom has in their WC final is that it takes a different fortitude to come back from 0-8 there than the same score in the set format. the set format is a cushion for the losing player in a way.
