Wood is the way

Yup solid hit for sure. The control is something else. Within an hour I was putting the cue ball where I wanted it. I struggle with that with every other cue I own. Takes little effort and every hit just feels great. Won't be my last one that's for sure. Its a lot of cue for the $$$.

I get why people like them but there is nothing like a crispy hit from some well-sorted maple.

I hated that sound. The blessing is I realised how good a well made maple shaft can be. That sound was one of the reasons to dive into wood. Never going back.
