Easier way to increase depth of wrap relief than hand sanding, on a warped butt?

If he's a good friend then let him know you need to cut the cue and install a new underwrap and charge accordingly. Even if he's not a good friend and just a good customer let him know you need to cut the cue and install a new underwrap. All of the above as long as the forearm isn't part of the...

Hi Dave....That mystery box of wood you have, is it kind of a slight greenish color? Hard to tell in the pictures. I had some with a similar graining pattern that I used for ring work and it had a light olive greenish color that worked for me. Thanks Dave

When is a cue considered Warped?

I generally don't like to get involved in this type of thing.....however .025 is less than the thickness of my driver license. With a fast cloth on the table you might be able to pick up a slight variation of movement. Imo....this was an excuse to get out of the sale because...... 1. the buyer...

    Nelsonite ??

Yes....even after the outside "seems" dry, it will take years for the inside to fully dissipate the smell. Every time you cut after it's been dipped you will smell it.

Best way to get the wax covering off of sealed wood

Make sure after you get the wax scrapped and knock the corners off it sits around for at least a few years or longer before attempting to put it into a cue.

Is there any interest in full splice jig?

Blade is dull....wrong TPI for the type of wood and thickness you're cutting. These are 2 quick reasons I can think of that would give poor quality results. Feeding too fast might be another. But there could a few other culprits that would cause this. Hard to tell without standing at your saw.
