Dynasphere bronze first impressions vs aramith

The secret is quite simply to only buy a NEW set for home use. The issue seems to be (just my opinion) that Centennials were/are super popular. There are zillions of sets out there. They are popular in pool halls and many get played for years and years. ANY SET that gets that much pounding...

Dynasphere bronze first impressions vs aramith

I have Dynaspheres Tungsten and Palladium. They are absolutely AMAZING in terms of finish, and tolerance. I also have Aramith Black, Centennials, Arcos II, Elephant and several others. Dynaspheres are a great product in line with any of the very best. There is NO QUESTION that their Bronze...

    Pool Ball Weights

All of this is MY experience and opinion. I recognize others here have different views... I have 2 different sets of Dynaspheres, and if budget is most important, the Dynasphere Bronze is CLEARLY the best value on the market. My FAVORITE set is my Predator Arcos II set. My PERSONAL experience...

Just got kicked out from tourney

These are not friends you need. It's one, single, local tournament, evidently run by a petty loser. Move on and enjoy. PLEASE dwell on all of the positives in your life and let this go. Don't let this ONE frustration take any more of your time, fun, peace, and life away from you. Focus on...

    Dynasphere Bronze....

I have 2 sets... Tungsten and Palladium. Both are absolutely amazing. I am up to 20 total sets now and have experience with sets across many manufacturers and decades. I can certainly not speak to the company as a whole, but the two sets I have are among the best I have ever seen regarding...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Here is some GREAT information I just got from Rubik about this set above... A fellow called Steve, from Seattle, Washington, commissioned this set some years ago. As we are all aware, gentlemen, bringing one’s own design into production is not for the faint hearted entrepreneur… they are faced...

    interesting experience with taom chalk

I use TAOM Pyro blue. I like it because it stays on so well, BUT I DO find tiny pieces of the chalk on the table occasionally. NEVER a dust spot like with Masters or Silver Cup, but like a tiny speck. I DEFINATELY see a tiny bit of the chalk stuck to the Cue Ball occasionally as well. This...

What size vacumn cleaner for a Diamond pool table? Can it have too much suction?

If you are buying a vacuum for JUST the table, then this is overkill but if you are buying for home use in general, there is no substitute for a Miele. Their machine has multiple suction settings including a setting for blinds, upholstery, curtains, and more. I have had one for 24 years and it...

Anybody else had Cyclop balls crack?

Do you suppose they changed the name to get rid of the history once the quality was worked out? Who knows... They made some very nice sets under the Cyclops name. The 20 ball set has a really nice design. Whatever the problem was has certainly been fixed. Dynaspheres are clearly among the...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

Vigma made a modern reproduction of sorts a few years back, but they are now out of business. Even those are very hard to come by. This is a very early and vary rare set.

I just saw this set come up on Ebay. A very rare set to find completely intact.

    Ball return versus drop pockets

Ball return catches dirt and wears the finish on balls faster in my opinion. You have to crawl under and clean it occasionally which is a pain. Had my drop pocket table over 20 years. Never even once have I wished it had a rerurn.

    Walking with Giants, Cole

Thank you for the tales. I'm sorry for the loss of your wife. Life goes on for sure but it doesn't always go nicely

    Floor covering for basement

Carpet, sheetrock and insulation make the space more comfortable and MUCH quieter, as well as giving a better acoustic environment for music. If more than 1 wall is below grade you would be wise to run a dehumidifier year round. Especially when you get a good rain or outdoor humidity is high...

    Using bowlliards to track progress?

This has really helped me clarify my biggest problem in pool and life. I can't stay mentally in a state of concentration for longer than an average hummingbird. I seem to play best early in the day. By evening I really struggle to "keep my head in the game" when I can I can go mid 150's. More...

So as price of Gasoline increases?

My favorite table is here at home. We don't drive much. House is paid for cause we're old. Sorry for the younger folks. You get what you vote for. Carter, Obama and now Biden all gave us trippling of gas prices. What do they all have in common? Socialist democrat ideology multiplied by...
