Not against the men... "a ladies division". Several ladies selected for each team would compete against each other in similar formats.

I found that putting the tip under the a pool table rail where pool balls never touch. Then swipe the cue back and forth while rotating the cue in my hands. The tip contacting the table cloth will burnish the tip perfectly. Do not get it too hot to effect the glue.

If it 'ain't broke, don't fix it'. But ... I would like to see a ladies division added to the Mosconi Cup. I think it would add a lot to the entire production (especially the audience} but most importantly increase the pay per view. What are your thoughts?

I understand your opinion. This made for TV and is the most watched pool show and setting a new standard for pool...I like showmanship. Better than sitting on the looser side and pouting.

I should have included that you should have good shooting skills and then ask good One Pocket players to play with them. You need good basic skills first. Sorry I neglected that.

A lot of good suggestions here. What I found that helped me the most and quickly was to play partners One Pocket and your partner was allowed to coach. One drawback is that folks can take too much time talking and that takes the fun out of it.

First, I would find out why my shafts are getting dirty. When I have a tip put on, I don't want the shaft or ferrule touched if possible. If it is a good shaft don't ruin it.

I'm tired of all the black clothes pool players wear. It looks like they never wash clothes like a road player living out of a van. Look at the post #23. That is a nice bright colored jacket that could be used in pool wearables. Some nice polo shirts would be a welcome addition.

I went back to the table to work on this and finally got back to moving the cue ball toward the ghost ball 18 inches or so, but also had about 6 inches of forward movement. Later tonight I will place the cue ball closer to the object ball and try a lower cue tip placement to get the draw I want...

I see improvement in two categories...shot making and strategy. This may help in strategy. Many good suggestions here. Improvement usually comes in steps so here's mine. Next time you play and come to a complex pattern. Take a photo...examine it later and see if there is a better way or if...

Straight pool...make sure you have a tight rack especially in the back row. One pocket ...make sure the side row is tight on the side opposite of breaking.

If I had a problem with their products...would that be their response? More than merely sub-standard...but I'm 'old school'.
