    I have a home made rotary axis with 4 - 1 gear reduction on my machine. I am using g540 driver with 10 microsteps so math tells me that 200 steps x 10 microsteps x 4 reduction = 8000 steps per 360 degrees or 22.22222222222222 per degree.
