Took it in on trade and dont know the model number. Its a player that has been used. A few dings from a few years of playing but it hits solid with no buzz or ping. Butt and shaft are straight, linen wrap in excellent condition. SOLD Willee 361-563-1303

Rummy, I dont think you will find anything useful in that price range. After the lathe comes all the tooling and accessory's you will need to accomplish the things you are wanting to do. I doubt you can tool up and supply a cue repair lathe for $300. Tom1234 is right ... save up your coins...

Not every player prefers Lilly white wood. A lot prefer the honey colored shafts. And that is a good thing ... if we all preferred the same thing then we would only need one cue maker. Some of shafts I thought were the best I ever made were from old gym floor boards and had that nice honey...

Chris, I have Renaissance, Cue wax, Hard Shell Turtle wax, and some others. Butchers works fine for me and I kinda like the oder of it ... your mileage might differ. I let any wax dry before buffing. As far as wasting money goes .... I am a cue maker so that sorta justifies it. Like buying...
