What is the stiffest feeling carom cue?

In my experience I have played with only two carom cues, A Buffalo and a Hanbat. Both cues are the traditional wood screw joint. Out of the two cues I feel like the Hanbat is more stiff on the hit. In the near future I would like to play with a double joint cue to feel how it differs from a...

    carom billiards with larger balls?

I have seen an online billiard game ( Korean) that uses more then 4 65mm balls. I think the balls come in many different colors and you score different amount of points based on the color balls you carom off of. Perhaps those balls are bigger then the standard fare. Here is a Korean website...

What is your level in 3c?

In the local tournaments in my part of America I would be a C meaning below .5 average. For a long time in my carom playing I was below .1 , but I am sure I play above .1 now, at least on my good days:thumbup:

Different shaft, or completely different cue?

I was playing with mori medium tips, but switched to a brand that I believe is called "Wizard", which is a layered tip. The Wizard medium feels pretty close to the Mori mediums. I have not played with many tips for carom but I prefer the Wizard over a Le pro tip, and a single layered Buffalo...

Question on cost of table transfer and setup

I was told by the owner of the table that he had the cushion profile ( not sure if this is the correct term) changed to accept European rubber. The owner said that the table mechanic Ernesto Dominguez did the rail work. It has the Euro rubber on it. The reason the owner does not have the table...

Some more info: Table is an old Brunswick of some kind with inlays. The slate is not two inches thick like the modern tables from Europe, I did not measure but I think it is either an inch or an inch and a half thick. Setup location is in a two car garage, on the first floor. Plenty...

    Ignorant neophyte questions:

If you play at Hard times it may be possible to ask Mr. Romero upstairs to make you a carom shaft that will fit your existing butt, or you can get a nice mid end production carom cue. http://pc-billiards.com/carom-cues-longoni-1star-c-1_65.html...
