I also learned from Byrne's standard book on pool and Billiards, great book. As someone who plays straight rail and three cushion I want to say please stop fighting. Our Carom Community is to small for us to fight over Dum stuff.

Thanks for posting this as this would have slipped by me.

Difference in weight Weight of the cue is less then in 3C, less then 18 ounces for small game disciplines. I think playing 3c and straight rail mutually help the other discipline out.
