    Anniversary, GC or Diamond?

GC or Pro-Am play great. Love my GC4, but play on Blue Label Pro-Ams regularly and don't have an issue switching back and forth. They both play great when set up right.

    GC4 Disassembly

Don't lift the whole side apron/skirt assembly from just the side pocket casting. I was told it could bend/warp/break the bolts or break the castings where the side rails mount. Most folks probably just unbolt every casting anyways.

    GC rail bolt tightness

Do you have a drop pocket with ball storage that has a trim around it at the foot? Reason I ask is my GC4 made a "sound" off hard banks on the foot rail and I determined it to be the chrome trim was not snug. There was just a slight amount of wiggle on the trim and if you blasted a ball into...

Brunswick Gold Crown VI (Tournament Edition)

Your pocket liners fit with a similar gap as the ones on my GC4. It's wild. That's a good looking GC there though sir.

    New Predator Table

Curious to see how tight the pockets are, the shelf depth and what the cut is. Maybe they just make them pro-cut and call it a day.

    Table / room size

20'x20' after walls furred out it's 19'7" +/- 1" square and houses a 9' GC4. No obstructions in any direction. Just for the record. The head and foot, if frozen to the rail, gives you about 6-7" of space behind your cue. I'll say I've never thought about it and also have never hit a wall with my...

    Ball polishers

I use just one set it came with. Now only use the standard Aramith polish. Another brand I tried (purple color, separates and has to be shaken) caused skids abound. Just takes a drop on a ball or two in each platter.

Went to a remodeled pool hall today, 13.50 per hour?

Ouch, if I priced my pool time at $13.50 and hour I would have spent nearly $100 last night. I'd only have to play 5 hours, once a week for 370 days to pay for my room. Not including beer, food, etc. They will make a killing if they have dedicate patrons.

    Ball polishers

I'm not a room owner but have a room at the house. I bought a Diamond 16-ball polisher and it works very well in a very short amount of time. By the time I vacuum and wipe down the table the balls are ready to go. It's built very stoutly. I can't imagine a room owner would want less than the...

Gandy? How does it compare to GC?

I paid $2200 for my GC4. I've seen 'like new' GC 1-4 for anywhere from $1000-6500. A local pool hall has a ton of 9' Gandys and they are in rough shape. Time and patrons haven't been kind to them for sure. I feel alot of the tables demise is lack of care by owners. Combine that with a...

    Was my GC3 installed correctly?

I wouldn't be satisfied with the results in the pictures for any amount of $$$ spent.

    ................................

I'd pick up some from Greenlight Depot. They beat Lowes price on 8' HO lamps. I'm guessing your fixture has 4' lamps if there are 8 of them. If you don't have HO lamps, Lowes or Home Depot is probably you're best bet. Make sure you get the frosted lenses/finish on the tubes. And I'd go...
