    eBay Mystery Cue

I disagree: I’m usually ok with ruling-out Asian import when I see a derlin butt cap. You can also see that one of the shafts has an ivory ferrule. It’s an old cue. That shaft could be a relatively newer addition, but who has a $200 shaft made for a $30 cue?

Are these authentic Ken Lane Porcupine cues?

They look right, but mine says “Ken Lane” on the butt cap. I also have a Porcupine that was clearly made by a different maker.

    Compound taper

I was wondering if someone could explain exactly what it means for a cue to have a compound taper, how to know if a cue has a compound taper, and how a compound taper affects how a cue rolls on a flat surface. Thanks

    Sold MANWON Cue… 60.5”

I believe it’s some type of rosewood. The black is synthetic. The rings are also some type of plastic, perhaps made of vintage materials. I would say the cue is from the early 2000’s. I bought it a few years ago.
