    Insurance value for this Cue?

I've had a few Adam cues from the same era, and we couldn't seem to get them to play right. We even tried changing out the metal screw tenon they used for the ferrule, and it didn't help. Maybe we are spoiled from playing with custom cues but the Adam cues didn't have the feel I like. The Adam...

    Insurance value for this Cue?

I think you are confusing a cue made by a factory with a good custom cue. The cuemaking craft is no different than any other functional art. Don't discredit the art of cuemaking because you have an import that isn't worth as much as you think it should be worth. I recently sold a plain jane...

    looking for a 10/11mm sneaky-ish pete

I have an old predator sneaky with a 5/16-14 stainless steel piloted, and I have some nice shafts that are in the 11 mm range Instead of the 314 pre cat shaft you can have 2 other shafts I have that are nice but too skinny for me. Or you can have them all

    Insurance value for this Cue?

The cue was made in the Adam plant in Japan where hundreds of thousands of cues are made. Ebay seems to be the place where these cues bring the most value, and there is a lot of interest in these cues. The problem with actual value is this cue is at the high end of a low end Asian import cue market.

    Insurance value for this Cue?

For insurance purposes you want it to be a little higher than what you can sell it for today on AZ Billiards. I would put an insurance replacement value as high as $1000 for the package. From a sales standpoint I would pay about $400 for the set.

    70's Josswest-Rare Yellow Micarta Piloted Joint 58 1/2"

The shafts are definitely original to the cue In fact other Josswest cues have a smaller diameter joint so there is a lip if you try to interchange them. These original shafts fit perfect. The taper is similar to Balabushka so I can see why so many Josswest shafts back then got taken down below...

what cues are saving up for ?

Cues have popped up lately I had to have, and I have no idea why.. A rare hard to find sought after cue becomes available by someone I know,, good price, I gotta have it. One day I will get bored and list it for sale, then buy something else. Round & round, and everyone wants to trade.

what cues are saving up for ?

I've purchased quite a few cues since the pandemic, and have only been able to hit four of them. I'm sure there is a Holy Grail in there somewhere, I have one on the way that's a candidate for Holy Grail, so I'm not looking or saving up for cues.
