    Playing by official rules.....

I've seen some strange rules along the way. Like using the butt of the cue to get a "spacing off the rail", scratch on the break is a loss, if you shoot down the rail you have to call the rail lol. I once played in an 8 ball tournament where you could accidentally make the 8 as many times as you...

    Playing by official rules.....

This is true. But I advocate very hard for a rule book, otherwise I'll find that people just make up rules as they go.

    Playing by official rules.....

I know there are some threads already about the strangest rules ever seen. I don't want to dig too deep into the list of crazy rules I've seen in my near decade of pool playing, although if yall want to post some they are entertaining to learn. I just basically wanted to ask yalls opinion about...

    Small pockets ruining the game

4.5 inch pockets are reasonable on 7 foot tables. On a 9 foot table it's a little tight for my liking, I prefer 4.75. Personally I think 4.5 is the very tightest a pocket should be. I also wish people would go back and watch pool from the 90s or early 2000s, before the tight pocket craze...

    Diamond Table Wait Time

My dad ordered one on 4/11/23 and it didn't get to his house until 2 days ago (May 23 2024). The sales rep will tell you that they can get it to you in 6 or 8 months, but the lead people will tell you it's a year. Don't listen to the sales rep. And don't be suprised if it shows up looking not...

    Diamond Table Wait Time

Good luck man. My dad ordered one and it took 13 months (April 2023 to May 2024). The sales reps will tell you they can get it to you in 8 months but the lead people will say a year. I hope yours comes in fast!

    Small pockets ruining the game

Super tight pockets are a detriment in a few ways 1. They make players of all speeds less confident in their ability. 2. They take away some of the creative shot making of good players because if it's too tough, why not just play safe. 3. Relatively novice players will lose ground because they...

    Diamond Table Wait Time

I've been scrolling azbilliards for years but only recently made an account. And mostly I made an account to tell a story about diamond. In April of 2023, my father put down a payment for a diamond 9 foot pro am. At the time, the sales rep said he might be able to get him a table by...
