    Phenolic inserts for shaft

For shaft inserts, buy the rod stock. Not preformed tubes, which are generally larger than needed for inserts. Collars and such.

    Phenolic inserts for shaft

Depends. Some start out layered, some start out rolled. Better to say what you have to get a correct answer.

I know weight is a matter of preference, but I got a question

Mass is feature of volume:weight. In the science terms indistinguishable, but physically discernible.

What is standard? I think you’re finally realizing where your train left the tracks.

You’re belief that your wal mart fishing rod is made the same way as a $1000 rod is, is quite laughable.

Because simply put, you’re not looking at the distortion of the shape. Visually you may not see the bend being as great, but the circular shape is being deformed to an oval. And that’s where the weakness is. If we take this from the size of cue shafts, to the size of a sewer pipe, it’d be easier...

    C.F. Shaft Fabrication...

I have hit with one of chucks shafts. Or at least I was told it was one of his. It did not feel pleasant when striking a ball. Feedback felt dull and the sound it produced was like nothing else I’ve ever played with. I don’t even know how to describe it other than when I handed it back to the...

Desi is the one who couldn’t properly keep his answer confined to the topic at hand. While I may been dealing with him in a not so pleasant manner, he brought this upon himself. He wants to speak as if his carbon fiber weave shaft is equal to these newer tow wound carbon fiber shafts. I’ll...

Who called you a crook? I don’t see that anywhere. What I did find, rather quickly was this:

    C.F. Shaft Fabrication...

Please enlighten me as to why you think that may be the case. Remember we’re talking of a tapered tube, a cone if you wish. Not straight sided tube, a pipe. You seem to not grasp many concepts when dealing with composites.

Because I couldn't figure out if you were trolling or not. I didn't feel the need to explain what that webpage already has there again. I was speaking from the standpoint of of which layers go which direction, how much angle each layer is started at. Thickness/width of the tow. And a multitude...

Did you bother to research golf club shaft tech over the last 30 years before you went Stone Age? Did you bother to understand why your method was trashed from get go? You are not a materials scientist(neither am I), but I seem to have a much firmer grasp on the knowledge at hand. I started...

    Something new for revo

Yea....not buying that. The vault plate isn’t part of the shaft. It has to have been added at some point with glue. It most certainly is retrofitable. Warranty talk aside, it isn’t some mythological unicorn. It’s glued in like everything else. They just don’t want to.

    C.F. Shaft Fabrication...

That’s all fine and dandy. But if it still hasn’t occurred to you, you’re ideal that these things aren’t designed to flex is flawed. Yours may not because you’ve approached it from the Stone Age. Your idea was tried multiple times since the 80’s. It’s never stuck around for a few reasons.

    C.F. Shaft Fabrication...

That’s not the point at all. Comparatively speaking, you’re carbon shafts are stone age carbon tech.

Don’t know exactly, don’t care. https://www.predatorcues.com/technology/revo-technology/ That site will be able to answer some questions easier. Easiest way to answer this is to tell you to look at the differences between Revo shafts. They had a target in mind, and made a shaft to meet that...

    C.F. Shaft Fabrication...

Without trying to be rude, you are completely out of your element here when dealing with carbon shafts. Let’s just put things in perspective first. No ones looking for a Meucci level whippy carbon shaft. True carbon filament cue shafts are constructed just like golf club shafts. You do not...

What is the Predator vault plate/V-TEk pad?

Because there are literally things called “fiber pads” and that’s the name they’ve went by forever. The v-tek pad is a red phenolic based(not fiber) material cut down to pad size. The actual fiber pads are punched from a large sheet.

Will this shutdown finish off most pool halls in the US?

If everything goes smoothly, there shall be no evictions allowed during this downtime. And as such, most banks will be easing payments for properties affected by the mandated closures. No the sky is not falling.
