Title says it all. I'd like to put some sort of identifying mark/logo on my stuff before I apply the finish. So far, I've never done that and just left them naked. I don't have a CNC to do a fancy inlay. What options are out there for a "sticker" or other solution that I can attach prior to...

Chris Hightower sells shafts that I've had good success with. He sells them at various levels of turning, depending on whether you want to start with squares or ready for finish sand, or anywhere in between. I'd give him a shot.

I ended up going with 18 on both ends, worked out great, but I must admit that custom threading is a bit of a PITA on my equipment. Thanks Kim and Joey!

I had no problem getting immediate shipment on 860 from Seyberts and 860HR from Muellers. Both 9'.

I bought mine at a demonstration. I was able to get Venom, Shaw, and Earl.

Is there a way to measure which is better? Quite honestly, I can't tell much difference between them in terms of feel, backlash,etc.

I've been looking for the same but have never gotten any responses. Earl balls are super easy to get, as are Shaw's. Finding more of the elite or obscure balls seem to be much harder unless you are willing to pony up $100+ for them.

Tough to decide. These don't rotate so TIR is not an issue. I have two, one from MA and one from CM. I want to pick the best one to use but don't know how to judge which is best because you can't measure runout, etc. Any thoughts? The MA is an "Accupro" and the CM is a "Jacobs" I can't...

Only based upon the few YouTube videos I've watched on both systems, I have to say IMO, the PPB system seems a bit more refined and sharper. The wildcard is the price difference is really large, with the ICA system quite a bit more expensive. I'd love to see a side-by-side review by someone...

Just wondering if there are any others to consider or is this a situation where there is really only one provider.

I'm intrigued by the ICA project system. Given that I spend a lot of time on my table at home by myself, it seems like a projection system might be a way to train and improve. Question (and I've searched the forum already for this topic) is are there other systems out there to compare against...

I mount mine with the base going side to side so that I get both slots. I also use extra long t-nuts. I'm not a huge fan of the center bolt design, it is a bit sloppy but overall, the unit works as advertised. Worth the money? Hard to say but it does come with a bunch of tool holders.

Well, I'm stuck with routers for now. I have four for various functions after not using even one for years. I've recently tried the 6-wing cutters and find that the 3-blade verticals give a nicer cut for a fraction of the price. Just my experience, YMMV
