    1920 - 1925 Brunswick 10 Foot Table

Bolts go through the slate and there is a threaded jig that hooks under the frame. The bolts pull the slate snug to the frame. The coating on the legs and skirt is some kind of paint. It looks just like wood. When my buddy purchased the table he thought it was wood until he touched it.

    1920 - 1925 Brunswick 10 Foot Table

The slate has bolt holes in the top around the edge. The bolt goes through the slate and there is a V-Shaped jig that hooks to the steel frame and the bolt threads into the jig securing the slate to the frame. The three pieces of slate are bolted to a wood frame and that is what I stapled the...

    1920 - 1925 Brunswick 10 Foot Table

Yes it is the original slate. There must have been some work done to it in the past because there were a couple 6-8 inch wide strips in two of the slates which appears that they repaired some cracks.

    1920 - 1925 Brunswick 10 Foot Table

When we first got the table we searched online to try to find what year it was made and couldn't find anything. So we took some pictures and sent them to Brunswick and they said that they built the table between 1920 & 1925. I'm assuming that they built the entire table.

    1920 - 1925 Brunswick 10 Foot Table

My buddy helped me set the frame up and set the slates on the frame. Then I ended up tackling the leveling of the slates, the seames, recovering of the table/rails, and the final assembly. Here are some progress pics.

    1920 - 1925 Brunswick 10 Foot Table

Just got my table together today. Now lets see how long it takes me to hit a 100 + ball run in 14.1. Huge transition going from a 7' Valley to a 10' Brunswick.

My 1920-1925 Brunswick table is complete.

I just finished my Brunswick 10 foot table. Played a few racks today. Gonna have to get used to the speed. I put 10' snooker cloth on it. Now lets see how long it takes to hit the century mark.

    1920 - 1925 Brunswick 10 Foot Table

Just finish leveling the slates. Wow was that a pain in the butt to level. The centerpiece have sex levelers and the end pieces have 9 levelers each. Now I am going to order the felt and hopefully I can be playing on it by the end of next week.

    1920 - 1925 Brunswick 10 Foot Table

Just sold my 7 foot Valley pool table and started setting up my 10 foot Brunswick. The day before my 7 foot Valley left I decided to try and record a quick run of 100. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1yXUTpuEzw&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Good to know. Along with sound maybe I will mount the camera diagonal out from the corner pocket. Like Stan's video. That way there is less chance of my body hiding the break ball. Thanks Sean.

Hey Stan, great idea to play tunes while recording a high run. This is a good way to validate that the video has not been edited. When I decide to shoot Jimmy I will ask for Tubby and tell him you said hello.

2013 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

I see myself breaking 100 within 2-4 weeks, depending on how often I play, which I'm sure will be as much as possible. I will be sure to have all my runs on video and will post my first video as soon as I hit the century mark.

In the 4th rack you bumped the 14 ball for a foul and I just ran 150 an out on you to win the match. Great run. I can't wait to get my 10' Brunswick set up and put some monster runs up, "with video". I live in northern Minnesota and everyone up here plays 8-Ball. Jimmy Wetch charges...

My Slate Broke. Can It Be Repaired?

I was ready to slide it back into place and the bolt for the bumper in that corner was sticking out in the way of the slate to be lowered in. So I lifted up on the corner to put my hand under the slate and push the bolt out of the way and, "SNAP"! I left all the bolts hanging in the rails and I...

My Slate Broke. Can It Be Repaired?

I just sold my 7' Valley pool table and was going to use the money to set up and felt my 10' Brunswick. The guy was supposed to come up from Minneapolis yesterday. So on Sunday I took the slate out to do some minor adjustments inside the table and when I went to lift on the slate and slide it...
