    Gabriels replacement parts

I’d like to ask you if you agree or disagree with the following statement: mass functionally translates to resistance to motion. The world is well aware of the other variables at play, as far as bracing/leg stability/etc. that allow some amount of wobble. To the notion of that I...

    Projector question.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve drooled over your setup a time or two, so if you wouldn’t mind, I have an additional question. Your lighting seems to be pro-spec: does your projector work well with that? Should I expect to have to dim the lights a tad when using PPro with the overhead?

    Projector question.

I didn’t see this topic addressed, so I thought I would ask everyone. There are a few ways to mount projector systems (foot/side/overhead), and I’d like to learn a few things about that. Does either mounting type have a tendency to get in the players eyes more than another? Which mounting...

    Gabriels replacement parts

Yes, and I can’t even imagine that. Each piece would be ridiculous to move lol. If one popped up around here, I’d probably bite, though.

    Gabriels replacement parts

Yes, 30mm is the spec on the Signature Pro. There’s more to specs than a number, however. 30mm before polishing or after? Is it a +/- tolerance from a machining perspective, or is it a “+ only” spec? It’s kind of like the older Centennial balls vs the aramiths, where specs made (for a...

    Gabriels replacement parts

For me, it is partly the steel reinforcement of the Gabriels which adds strength, as well as the additional mass (which is physically equivalent to the phrase “resistant to motion”. Stability. That’s 99 percent of a table. Heavier stuff moves less. Reinforced structures give less. The icing...

    Brunswick Joss Or Not

You’re correct- I used the word, “facility” in a loose way. Falcon used quite a bit of Joss machinery and process. Process meaning machining control.

    Brunswick Joss Or Not

That’s the coolest thing I learned all day. It seems like the job went straight from Joss to Falcon. I always liked Joss/Falcon, I‘m blown away that I never knew this. Falcon put some pretty nice looking work into those Brunswicks, too. Thanks for the pics, man.

    Gabriels replacement parts

+1 on anything they’ve ever made. They‘re all hybrid frame with wood and steel. We had a 420 pounder that used to get on the table often, and the balls on the table didn’t even wiggle when he’d get up there. I spent 2-3 years playing on the same table I’m buying, and it always rolled great...

    Brunswick Joss Or Not

You might be correct there, but two things I’d like to note. One is that I’m unaware of falcon jobbing for Brunswick in that era. The other would be that Falcon was not only made in the Joss facility, but was made to the same general specs and process. Even a few cnc operations are evidently...

Thank you. That was the first thing I tried, but all I have to show for it is an auto-response thanking me for submitting it. It’s been over a week.

    Gabriels replacement parts

Our Gabriels Signature Pro needs a set of pockets. These tables have the “Diamond-ish” looking pockets that install on the rail, and a separate leather drop pouch. I am needing the black plastic part of the pocket that is visible.

    Brunswick Joss Or Not

This one is definitely a Danny Janes/Joss manufactured Brunswick. In the 90’s we sold Joss, which I still play with and have repaired for decades. The shaft checks out, the joint checks out, the inlay work is literally the same cnc operation as some of the Joss cues of the era. These were...

    Streaming pool camera input?

And “part B” lol to my response. Looks like you have a Rebel, what model is it, and can everything be controlled remote? Zoom, power on/off, F stop etc in the event I’d like to capture layouts… what all works remote on that thing? I’m from a photographer family lol but I was the degenerate...

    Streaming pool camera input?

Okay-because I’m new, I had some hypothetical thoughts, and you nailed them. I thought distance would be good, and I had hoped the adjustment increase would take away the “angle distortion” effect that I see in many overhead shoots. Like, a guy hits a ball, it looks like it’s going to miss a...

    Streaming pool camera input?

I should be able to get the overhead around 10 feet in the air, or 7-7.5 feet above the table. Given that this reduced required angle of capture, would the 10-18 still be workable? Would something else work better?

    Streaming pool camera input?

Watching it, I notice a difference in color between the two views. What K lighting is that? 5k? It’s almost like glare reduction would make it way sharper. But again, that’s through FB and through a screen mirror to my tv. I can see that for sure. I was actually thinking an led...

    Streaming pool camera input?

+1 for FB garbage resolution. 1080 may be a limitation in terms of conversion etc. Can you see the ball numbers on your device? I may try a few of those to get different angles. Or possibly similar with higher resolution.
