I remember going over to Don's house when I lived near him around 21 years ago. What a character and neat guy. He purchased a Justis case that said US OPEN CHAMPION STAKEHORSE. He ponied up, and had a nice win.

I picked up a brand new Treadway cue. Birdseye and cocobolo. This cue plays fantastic! Big pin, hand-picked Le Pro tip (Josh tests and hand picks them). Fun, fun!

I love how open Nick is. I can't wait for the other parts to drop. I really enjoyed hearing about how before he won his first World Championship in 1980, he stood, talking to himself in the bathroom before his final with Sigel, stating "I am going to win...I am going to win." Nick is awesome.

Not many non-pros would playing Justin on a bar table...especially those here who view him as St Louis Billiards Royalty (which he is) and have that extra intimidation factor.

I listened to part 1, and halfway through part 2. Fantastic interview. Nick just gets going and you don't have to ask much.

I use FEDEX for everything. I never use UPS so can't comment, and the USPS has gone down the drain.

I'm fortunate that I periodically get to spend some time and talk with Mark in St Louis. Really nice guy and great story teller. I knew his "Nashville" story - because we've discussed that before, and had something in common as I also worked for Bobby (much later than Mark) delivering/installing...

Kind of a TAD style, but not TAD quality/execution. Everyone is coming up lately with these bootleg cues (see Philsopher's post from yesterday). I won't lie, I think they are really cool for what they are. I'd love to know who made this.
