Things to consider for those forum members buying their first pool cue

Oh, so now it's a range of nearly an ounce. That pretty much covers every maple shaft. You've been told numerous times by well respected makes that ivory was the best material available at one time and now it is only used because of the price.

Things to consider for those forum members buying their first pool cue

Best to just laugh at that clown. He will spout off all the time about his antiquated belief about the magic of elephant teeth and claim that 'all the best cuemakers' have told him that a shaft needs to weigh 19.627% of the total cue and be over 4.1oz.

Take all of the weight out of your break cue

Close. It's Kinetic Energy = Mass x Velocity Squared. This is the the formula that drive the energy available from the moving cue stick. The energy imparted to the cueball is that multiplied by the efficiency of the system (i.e. what percentage of the energy is lost to compression of the...

Jeanette Lee coming up in the 8 o’clock hour of CBS morning show 8/27

Pool isn't worth watching in general. I honestly can't remember the last time I say down to watch more than 12s of pool. I'll watch snooker at times, but they have professional level commentary.

Shaft to Butt Joint Adapters - Thread Converters

The warranty issue is likely due to the fact that they appear to be using a metal insert. Aluminum trends to gall on other metals and could damage both the insert and the pin.
