Do you shoot pool with a hat on?

I imagine that is how the backers dress.

Two On The Same Day Dilemma

No, but I poo'd twice. Both on the same day. Stroke them both on top of the kitchen table. Pick the most smooth and stiff one. Edit: You might enjoy playing with both at the same time.

I thought this was going to be about me.

How to find a good Pool instructor?

What do the levels mean? And how did these instructors obtain those levels? This related to Dr. Dave or Billiard University?

How to find a good Pool instructor?

Is there any game more perverted than pool?

How to find a good Pool instructor?

I would really like some lessons on using English. I am acquainted with a couple of instructors just from frequenting my local pool hall. I have talked to them sometimes but not inquired about lessons. When I mention BHE, FHE, Parallel, I kind of get blank stares. Maybe they are old school...

Do you shoot pool with a hat on?

I'm not sure how it is outside of the USA but I've never been to a pool hall that doesn't have air conditioning or central air.

Do you shoot pool with a hat on?

    Your hat is your eyeglass.

Do you shoot pool with a hat on?

A couple people have also said this. SVB says that shooting pool is like shooting a gun.... I see people at the range or hunting all the time with hats on. Is pool really so different?

Do you shoot pool with a hat on?

I can already see the flood of jokes. But this is a serious question. I see quite a few people shooting with headphones on and listening to music or whatever. This helps them get in a zone. I think most importantly it keeps the positive vibe and mentality up as well as drown out the noise...

    Lifting Weights before a Tournament?

Exactly. How I understand lifting weight in terms of building muscle. You must get sore to increase gains. If you are not getting sore then you are only maintaining your current muscle mass. If you are lifting regularly then you probably have your "max out" day once in a while, and should...

What does the perfect glove feel like?

I Bought the $30 dollar Predator glove and just wanted to report back with an update. They call them Second Skins, but I didn't feel much of a difference between the $1 glove and the Predator. For closed bridge the Predator had a slight increase in feel, but it was so small that I could be...

    Non-low deflection carbon shaft maker?

The Bull Carbon CF Shaft has 1mm walls. Point being the fact that they said it in the description must mean most CF walls are less than 1mm.

Did you Register your Pool Cue Warranty?

Looks like someone swallowed their tongue on that one. Morally responsible warranty claims are a different thing. But I will 100% agree with you if u can riddle me this... have you ever thrown away a care guide or instruction manual without reading it first?

Did you Register your Pool Cue Warranty?

Depends... I just sold an expensive shaft that I had only owned for 4 weeks, and used maybe 5-10 hrs. I wish I hadn't registered it so I could have handed over a warranty.

    Lifting Weights before a Tournament?

14 years ago you said 15 minutes. Any reason for the additional 5 minutes? Not ridicule, just wondering. Is this for the legs only or does it release lactic acid in the whole body?

Did you Register your Pool Cue Warranty?

Really? Name some quality cues? I've seen split shafts, broke ferrules, warping on butts and shafts, butts peeling, loose joints on all sorts of different brands. I don't think defects discriminate.

Did you Register your Pool Cue Warranty?

I'm seeing that all pool brands are saying that their warranty is non-transferrable. But at the same time none of the brands require you to register your new pool cue. Basically, if you don't register then whoever owns the cue at the time is covered? as long as the owners/sellers keep passing...

    Lifting Weights before a Tournament?

I did see that post from 14 years ago. When I see questions this old I wonder if there are any new insights. I also felt his question was too general. Like I know it is probably best to stick to light workouts if you have a match coming up. But my question was more of, If you do happen to be...

    Lifting Weights before a Tournament?

Let's assume you go to the gym to build muscle. You have 2 different workout routines: Biceps, back, and shoulders Chest, triceps, L... I am excluding "Legs" from workout "set 2" because in my experience, it does effect your pool skill to have sore legs while shooting. I realize some people...
