    Cue Tip Compression

Thanks. Hey, is there any benefit to compressing Recoil tips? Also, this is probably more of a general question. If we take the original height measurement of a tip and compress the tip by 10%, does that mean that the tip is 10% harder? So like, if the tip is rated 80 hard and compress...

I don't think everyone can move their arm that fast. They're probably adding weight because arm swing is already maxed.

    Cue Tip Compression

What are the best solid cue tips to compress into hard? I read something about milk making the tips feel like an elastic sponge so I don't want to make milk duds. Also, if I am not making milk duds than is there another liquid I should be using with the clamp?

Things I Don't Understand at the Pool Room

Just what we need. More regulation around opening up pool rooms. Some people like to play on same table every time they go. Today is revenge for taking his table.

Best All-Around Production Cue for ~$1000 (Value, Playability, Durability, Support)?

My opinion comes from my experience. Obviously my experience is not that of a pool room owner with a shop... So, might be hard for you to understand. But I don't think the OP owns a shop either. No, doubt the beauty of forums is everyone gets to share opinions and experience. I feel like you're...

Best All-Around Production Cue for ~$1000 (Value, Playability, Durability, Support)?

IDK. You're experience explains a lot. You're more like a used car sales lot owner. The values for individual buyers and seller is different. Its actually the opposite.

Things I Don't Understand at the Pool Room

I find most people are just lazy. I don't know what table you are picking. But I walk my ass to the back of room or away from the front desk. People tend to pick the table that is closest to them after receiving balls from the young lady behind the desk. Maybe they're to lazy to walk to a...

    Cue Tip Compression

Why did it take you a long time to go from medium to hard? Was it physical or was it mental doubt?

    Cue Tip Compression

This is sounding pretty logical. Tips only provide grip. The rest is predetermined by the laws of physics. Does the Bulletproof green hard tip feel like an old and hardened soft tip with 2 layers left? I think all tips get hard so I should probably skip the medium tip step too.
