Filler and TRex. Tue -Wed at Roys

The player I was referencing was not a Pinoy. DO is one of the best shot makers in the world but when he first showed up in Santa Monica he had little knowledge of One Pocket. I don't think Dennis would have been able to beat T. Cho when he first started playing One Pocket. The Pinoys are the...

Filler and TRex. Tue -Wed at Roys

I've seen pro players that have come to Santa Monica House of Billiards and played on those super tight tables without really practicing on them and lose. I am talking about guys that have won major one pocket pro tournaments. When they open the doors after 8 pm that room gets crowded, it gets...

Filler and TRex. Tue -Wed at Roys

Straight pool players hate to play on really tight tables. Rotation players have more confidence and will run more racks on 4.5 pockets. On super tight tables you don't see the six-packs put together. With super tight pockets it turns into safety battles. When you have a shooter like...

They are under 4 inches. It's Ernesto that makes all the pockets super tight.

Filler and TRex. Tue -Wed at Roys

In a room where there are a lot of One Pocket players you can bet that that the pockets are under 4 inches. Santa Monica House of Billiards comes to mind. If you are not a regular, you can't play on the first four tables by the rail. Nine ball is rarely seen. I thought Killer Filler may...

I don't know what would preclude you from being a fan. Are you waiting for a pool messiah? Folks that don't really play one pocket had their socks knocked off watching Filler and T. Cho play. For most recreational players one pocket is tedious with the balls all up table being nicked around...

Great interview and well worth listening to.

I have always loved Siget too. He brings a lot of personality to the game. I like to observe all his nervous ticks.

I've never understood the negativity regarding Filler. He is a young man that is confident: would folks like him to be unconfident? It's seems like a bunch of sour grapes. I love the way this young man plays and wins. I thought with the 4.5 inch pockets it would give him a slight edge.

Even Filler admitted in the post game interview that he would not be able to run as many balls on a tighter table and there would be much more moving. Straight pool is really hard on pockets under 4 inches. If you have super tight pockets and you add in humidity it even gets worse.

Filler and TRex. Tue -Wed at Roys

Filler is such a superb shot maker, banker and straight pool player and when you add in the 4.5 inch pockets, I thought he would have a chance of winning. Filler wears his opponent down with all that firepower. Filler shoots with total confidence and once his mind is made up, he commits to the...

Filler and TRex. Tue -Wed at Roys

It was unreal and a blast to watch. T Cho is the most creative player in the One Pocket game today IMO.

Tony did have to shoot out of some traps that Filler put him in and then one of his take outs of a ball in Filler's pocket looked impossible. All in all it was exciting to watch these two go at it. Tony also had that game where he slammed into the stack and two balls went in Filler's hole but...

I think that 4.5 inch pockets will favor the shooter.

Filler and TRex. Tue -Wed at Roys

T Cho is one of the most exciting and creative one pocket players in the game today. His one weakness is he misses shots more often than world class rotation players. This is gonna be a fantastic match.

This should be a really great match.

    Hard Times Bellflower

I was playing in action on the ground floor while the Michigan alumni were watching their game and stomping on the second story floor. It was so loud, I put on my ear muffs that I use for shooting. The dude I was playing was getting sharked by all the noise and he fell apart. The music was...

    Colorado pool rooms open when?

The greatest killer in the time of Spanish conquest were epidemics that neither the Spanish or the indigenous people understood. Smallpox decimated millions.
