Just tips..Probably minilathe or basic lathe kit from taig with .590 headstock if you are a little mechanically inclined. Hardest part is making some type of steady rest for back of cue

Crutch/chair tips are too small.You would need 1.25 inch or bigger.Maybe a pvc pipe end cap. Or like someone said Amazon has a sleeve that will slide over the butt that also has a rubber bottom. the ones I saw were 4 for under 10 bucks
I am trying to picture a 1 inch mid extenson. A joint pin probaby needs at least one inch to screw into the wood. So where would the female thread go? I might not be seeing this right but that extension would come out to about two inches
